Candi CdeBaca beat incumbent Albus Brooks in a runoff race for Denver City Council on June 4, running on a platform to bring about communal ownership of land, labor and resources “by any means necessary.”

CdeBaca, 32, who considers herself a democratic socialist, was among three new city council members to unseat incumbents in Denver in last week’s elections, according to The American Mirror.

She reportedly defeated Brooks by a margin of 52.4% to 47.6%, though military and overseas ballots are still being counted. Her victory would make her the first democratic socialist to hold a Denver City Council seat, Fox 31 Denver reported.

She participated in the “Denver Decides” candidate panel in April, where she explained her agenda to instate communal ownership of land, labor and resources and do away with “extractive” capitalism.

“I don’t believe our current economic system actually works. Um, capitalism by design is extractive and in order to generate profit in a capitalist system, something has to be exploited, that’s land, labor or resources,” CdeBaca said.

“I think that we’re in late phase capitalism and we know it doesn’t work and we have to move into something new, and I believe in community ownership of land, labor, resources and distribution of those resources,” she continued. “And whatever that morphs into is I think what will serve community the best and I’m excited to usher it in by any means necessary.”

CdeBaca wrote an extensive thank you message to her supporters June 5 on Facebook. She attributed her success to her staying “real.” She wrote:

We won every precinct that we could walk! We won every damned one! THAT is about PEOPLE vs. money! Hard work vs. money! Connection vs. shallow engagement!

The Eastside taught me really early what “real” really means. Don’t talk about it, BE about it. I knew in my heart if community who knew this principle still existed in the Eastside, they would see me and recognize real. If they didn’t I was cool with it too because I wanted to serve those who understand this principle. They are here, they showed up, they recognized real. We won this battle while our communities are at war.

Carlos Valverde, state director of left-wing activist group Colorado Working Families, likened CdeBaca to New York Democratic Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, according to The American Mirror.

“Its historic. It is in the vein of Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez … a victory that really demonstrates people power over money power,” he said.

An effective declaration of war on our freedoms and property, yet nobody puts a slug in her? One more time: this is war. What do people do in war? Must it be spelled out?

Are there other solutions available to us? If so, we're not using them because that nitwit is still occupying her seat, as is the case with most such office holders from sea to shining sea. It seems clear that the people whom she represents want things as she sees them. But I am quite certain not all of them are on board, so what of their wishes and their rights? This is why war is upon us. Nobody in their right mind gives a $#@! whether the majority of people in Denver want to live like communists. They do, however, care about the disinterested minority who continue to cherish their freedom and their rights. They are the reason the great mass of Americans should be rising up and making it clear to all traitors to liberty either to step off or lose their lives. Can nobody see that they are felons committing very mass-scale felonies against the free people of America with their despotic tyrannies, and that all propriety pursuant to our natural, God-given liberties dictate they should be ousted from office and from our shores, or even killed outright?

When a robber threatens you on the street, what is the proper response? All else equal, you remove his ability to pose that threat, which usually means delivering to him grave bodily injury, or taking his life which he has forfeited by his own choice. This is right, proper, and just action. So why, when a "politician" issues an equal threat in equally felonious fashion, do we routinely and dare I say universally, kowtow like quivering serfs? HELLO?!

We deserve what we tolerate.

The "government" isn't doing the right things, so we have no recourse there. What will it take to make people act in their own better interests, in the interest of liberty? I have asked this question many times in these fora: will Americans ever show even the least epsilon of self-respect and stand in effective material opposition to those who defile us through the trespass of our rights? I have expressed my dolefully offered suspicion that the answer is "no", and thus far I am proven correct. We as a people have no respect for ourselves, and no real love for our children (all indignant protest to the contrary notwithstanding), demonstrated and proven by our idle tolerance of every outrage heaped upon us while we give the old "can't fight city hall" shrug of our slouched shoulders. The cancers of wokeness and transgenderism, with parents allowing their five year olds to make life-destroying choices are but two examples of the wild idiocies now being normalized, the results of which will one day come back to haunt the race of men.

Our forebears protested the Crown's actions and were left unheard. Once it became clear to them the nature of things, the three-percent shot the ghosts from British carcasses and continued to do so for six long years until we killed enough of them to make the Crown call it quits. I say God bless every one of those courageous souls for having risked everything that we, their spoiled idiot-children posterity, might live in opulent freedom. Bless their courage and their will to risk everything for us, and I say damn the lot of us, for we have betrayed their goodness, having returned the evils of our corruption in thanks. When all peaceable alternatives fails, and all else has indeed failed in twenty-first century America, you butcher the threat and you do so with an eager and efficient, cold vigor.

Yes, we have mass civil disobedience left to us, but we are so corrupted with FAIL, we lift no finger to employ it to effect. It would force the choice upon Themme: back down or escalate. My prayer would be for escalation that we would settle all issues of threat by killing them off, for dead men take no action against the living, but I'd settle for a grand back-down. Alas, no such prospect looms. It is said that we Americans are slow to anger in these ways, and I agree. But now we are too slow and the time is well past us that the gallows should have been built and the right necks stretched for the world to witness in horror as we ended the wretched existences of devils made flesh upon the earth. Broadcast it as warning to all comers presuming to approach Patrick Henry's "precious jewel", that we will rip the soul from your flesh if you so much as twitch the wrong way, and we will neither gentle nor generous as we send you to hell, screaming in agony and regretting the day your parents met. I would make such labor of it to set all men appalled, but cognizant of the necessity to treat all violators of the Special Trust with draconian, icy cruelty.

We are at war, yet fail to acknowledge it. Why? Because to do so demands action and we are too corrupted to risk anything as we cling like terror-stricken children to the dregs of that which remains to us, the rest having been stolen right from under our noses as we cowered in obscene compliance to the false authority of the despots, despoilers, and looters. We are become a despicable breed and shall remain so until such time as we spill the blood of the criminals who foist upon us. We should be bathing in their blood and they, from the torments of their cells in the Ninth Circle, should be thanking the God to whom they turned their crooked backs, that we did not send their children to keep them company.

Did I mention that we deserve what we tolerate?
