Amash is saying Trump has engaged in an impeachable offense

Way to call a spade a spade, even if it means getting the GOP all up in arms. Love his pinned tweet too regarding Washington’s quote on towing the party line.

"Let me now...warn you in the most solemn manner against the baneful effects of the spirit of party generally."

Rep. Justin Amash of Michigan said Saturday that President Donald Trump“engaged in impeachable conduct” by committing obstruction of justice, breaking ranks with a Republican Party that has rallied to the president’s defense in the wake of Robert Mueller’s findings in the Russia investigation.

Amash also accused Attorney General William Barr of “deliberately” misrepresenting the Mueller report and misleading the public through “sleight-of-hand.”
His whole TDS ramble can be read here: https://twitter.com/justinamash/stat...31626844921862

Dude's a loser and should be voted out.

We finally have a president that is willing to prosecute the criminals in our federal government and now Amash wants to impeach...

I won't be donating to him ever again.

Almost hard not to think he has some other motive then . The people that voted for Amash may not all want 9 years of the Pence presidency he is trying to lock in and I doubt he is pitching for Weld so unless hillary suicided him and this is an imposter he is up to something and nobody will ever trust him again .

I'm sure he said the same about Obama, every president has committed impeach able offenses to a libertarian, especially when it is politically convenient, bet he's struggling for reelection.

Jeff Flake used to have that kind of numbers.

Amash is turning into the next Flake.

So, impeach him already...I fail to see how more talk will reduce "extreme partisanship".

I've said all along that "I don't like that $#@!ing guy" is not an impeachable offense, but who knows these days?

That's what the idiot GOP impeached Bill Clinton for in the 90s, instead of real high crimes like selling missile guidance technology to the ChiComs and reactor technology to the North Koreans or the mass murders in Waco Texas, and you see how far that went.

How again did Trump obstruct justice? Also, I cannot side with nailing someone for obstructing justice when then real crime being investigated is non existent. Precedent be damned.

With such an incredibly high Freedom Index Score of 94% it is easy to figure out why the Anti-Freedom Shills want him ousted. Take a look at this thread, for instance.

The huge overwhelming difference is Amash STILL has those numbers.

I don't want him ousted for the same reason I don't want Trump impeached.

I like that Rand is helping Trump stop the Marxists. Amash seems to just be a never Trumper. Not impressed.

Trump certainly has his negatives, like all presidents, but his positives are better than any president I have seen in 50 years.

If/when Amash’s record begins to decline, we can then revisit whether Amash is another flake. Until then, he is among the best that we have, and I trust him waaayyyyyyyyyyy more than I trust you. No offense, SwordShill ;-)

This is very important too. I don't care who it is, If there is no crime then there is nothing to try and charge them with, done and over. I said the same thing a few times in defense of Obama even though I couldn't stand him. No crime... no offense to pursue no matter who it is. This current practice is entering very dangerous territory going into the future.

Amash is open borders and that is behind his TDS in my opinion.
That is what drives TDS in many people.

What exactly is the case for obstruction? Was it that Trump discussed keeping or firing Mueller with his staff? What difference does that make? Doesn't Trump have the authority to fire him? Do they want to say that every question, statement, or console with staff is obstruction? Would not any person running anything discuss options with staff and brainstorm ideas?
