Actually those numbers look pretty good considering it is probably a poll of 1K Dems in NY . Within a margin of error pretty much everywhere except for Biden which is who they have been padding in the polls . Imagine the surprise when they get to NH and Sanders wins it by 30 percent in the dem primary .

Probably true in case of almost all of Dems on the scene, if Rand or another credible GOP cadidate primaried him, than GOP-Adelson wing could be toast.

Granted he used to be a liberal democrat and funded Hillary but currently he identifies as a Conservative NY Republican. Many politicians flip flop, why single out just MAGA. Judging a politician by placing his/her past positions next to current positions is an overly harsh standard, we should give politicians room to grow and evolve as they age.

The lesser of the two evils? Expecting for someone absolutely perfect to ever come along again is an unrealistic dream and never going to happen. And even if they did the same thing would happen to them that happened to Ron Paul. Once again... reality has to come into play at some point.

Defining 'hardcore conservative' can be subjective but I tend to agree that many Republicans probbaly still see him as a messiah and could be called a 'lock'. But if the 'sugar high/debt spending' skeptics arguments turned ot to be true and economic boom did not sustain come 2020, almost half the categories in this list can flip. I recall there was strong Republicans lock behind Bush also till 2006-07 until housing bubble crash unfolded. This spending boom is different but boom/bust cycles are natural. Also, DACA/immigration is a big GOP base issue lately that is not on this list.
