Nigel Farage is the new Ron Paul!

He has raised $2m so far in small donations. For a party that didnt exist a month ago thats crazy..

Also, watch the video. Look at the number of people coming to his events etc. it reminds of the RP Revolution.

While there are some similarities ( Farage also seems to be strong opponent of foreign interventions, Iraq war etc), there seem to be some differences too. Don't recall RP making statements with such wording that can be viewed as collectivist by many (including by supporters of MAGA whose top funder is jewish):

From what I recall RP talked in terms of liberty principles, blowback arguments etc and did not hold a single ethnic group responsible.

I don't see why not. As far as I'm aware, US citizens can interfere in any foreign elections that we like.

If raising small donations and pull big crowds are the main indicators then Bernie is some form of a Ron Paul.

True and he came out and campaigned for Trump which Ron Paul also did. More commonalities between the 2 liberty mavens.

NIGEL FARAGE has never held Cabinet office. He has not even been an MP. Yet he is perhaps the most influential British politician since Margaret Thatcher. Through his charisma, eloquence, patriotism and strategic grasp, he has dramatically reshaped the course of our national destiny.

British MEP and prominent Brexit campaigner Nigel Farage is on course to defeat the U.K.’s main political parties at next month’s European Parliament elections — unless the country’s quarreling MPs can strike a deal to leave the bloc quickly.

Farage’s newly formed Brexit Party has a strong lead over both U.K. Prime Minister Theresa May’s ruling Conservatives and the opposition Labour Party, according to influential pollsters — suggesting the British public are angry and frustrated at their elected leaders’ inability to deliver Brexit on time.

The U.K. recently secured a six-month extension to the Brexit process, to October 31, to give parliamentarians more time to reach a consensus on exit terms and avoid a potentially damaging no-deal scenario. But if May and opposition leader Jeremy Corbyn cannot strike an accord before May 22, the U.K. will have to take part in European elections.

A leading YouGov poll found Farage’s party is favored by 27% of voters, with Labour on 22% and the Conservatives on 15%.

Tin Foil Hats, Economic Reality and the Total Perspective Vortex

Also, have you contacted your Congressional Rep and asked them co-sponsor Ron Paul's Rep. Paul Broun Jr.'s HR 1098 77: Free Competition in Currencies Act?

Maybe Ron will support Trump in 2020, now that he's had a chance to see how great Trump is.

I was against Trump before he exceeded my expectations, I will give Nigel the same consideration if he exceeds my expectations.

I am also ready to drop Trump for anything better that comes along, the UK has UKIP that is better than Nigel.

Being a controlled opposition is similar to being pregnant. Its either u are or u are not. There are no grey areas with it. I am not sure what Farage is but I wouldnt go as far as to call him a controlled opposition. I suspect his heart was originally in the movement but now he just wants fame and the little fortune he can scrape from his ideology.

On the other hand, i know what Trump is.

Not so, one can be a double or even triple agent.

Then you don't understand politics, he could get what you describe without undermining UKIP.

'Nigel Farage is second only to Thatcher': Tory defector Ann Widdecombe heaps praise on Brexit Party founder and vows to help him deliver a 'seismic shock' to Britain

JAMES GLANCY Leave voters feel insulted and ignored — my Brexit Party will act for the people

James Glancy, who is standing for the Brexit Party, says it's vital we stand up to the EU super-state

I AM proud to be British and have been willing to risk my life to defend our values of tolerance, diversity and the rule of law.

But our greatest asset — our free and tolerant democracy — is under threat.

The failure of our politicians to listen to the people — and their complete lack of leadership — has compelled me to take a stand.

I am standing for the Brexit Party on the single issue of democracy. We have assembled a diverse group of candidates from across the political spectrum, from former Tory Ann Widdecombe to left-wing grandee Claire Fox.

We are all unified in our desire to pressure Westminster to deliver what the people instructed.

It is vital we restore parliamentary democracy. Through my service with the Royal Marines and the Special Boat Service, I witnessed the Arab Spring first-hand and saw the horrors suffered by a people with no representation in their political system.

I never thought our political class would deliberately undermine the people.

But they have done so by failing to deliver on the 2016 referendum. This after the 2018 General Election manifestos of the Conservative and Labour parties clearly pledged to honour the result.

Voters on all sides have been betrayed. The final straw for me was seeing the men who sent me to a questionable war in Afghaistan — Tony Blair, Lord Adonis and Alastair Campbell — conspiring to undermine the people.
    https://www.thesun.co.uk/news/893319...-feel-ignored/

Wow, a former Marine calling the Afghanistan war questionable...
