During Ron's last run he flat lied about one of the eastern states having a closed primary when it was actually an open primary state. SC if I remember right. Not once but many times. I actually filed a formal complaint with the FCC and the FEC over that one. He did it on purpose because he had a personal hate for Ron Paul.

It's more likely coming from the top/ownership, recent cancellation of Judge JP's show after her criticism of muslim Congresswoman Omar was a telling sign of Foxnews' new direction. From watching clips of other Foxnews hosts in other thread today, doesn't seem like it's just Shep Smith but the whole institution seems to be switching to what appears to be suppression of its past programming freedoms/very cautious reporting style.
