Exclamation Bernie Sanders takes lead in new national poll of the Democrat Clown Car field

    Bernie/Buttplug 2020.

April National Poll: Bernie Takes Lead for Democratic Nomination, Mayor Pete On The Move

    https://emersonpolling.reportablenew...te-on-the-move

A new national Emerson poll, including 20 Democratic candidates for President, found Senator Bernie Sanders ahead of the pack with 29%, followed by former Vice President Joe Biden at 24%. They were followed by Mayor Pete Buttigieg at 9%, former Rep. Beto O’Rourke and Senator Kamala Harris at 8%, and Senator Elizabeth Warren at 7%. Entrepreneur Andrew Yang and former HUD secretary Julian Castro were at 3%. The poll was conducted April 11-14 of Democratic Primary voters with a subset of n=356, +/- 5.2%.

Spencer Kimball, Director of Emerson Polling, said “while still early in the nominating process, it looks like Mayor Pete is the candidate capturing voters’ imagination; the numbers had him at 0% in mid-February, 3% in March and now at 9% in April.”

Kimball also noted that “Biden has seen his support drop. In February, he led Sanders 27% to 17%, and in March the two were tied at 26%. Now, Sanders has a 5 point lead, 29% to 24%.”

    1. It's early days. The MSM may shove another clown down the public's throats with 24/7 coverage.

    2. The Wicked Witch of Arkansas isn't running, so who would buy those superdelegates?

    3. Sanders couldn't possibly beat Trump unless the economy collapses before election day. The Powers that Be could actually decide to put forward a Democrat that can beat their boy Trump.

They seem to like running terrible candidates against incumbents the last quarter century. I guess they're trying to train us to consider power unimpeachable in general. But Trump's starting to talk like a God Emperor determined to place his child on the throne. That could piss old Soros off.

Then he'll proceed to kiss the feet of whoever ends up being the Democratic nominee all while spouting that hes anti-establishment.

    You honestly think so?

I mean I'm no one to talk, I figured Hillary was going to walk away with it in 2016.

I honestly think he could very handily win: the "I'm an honest to god communist" card beats the "he's an old white guy" card. He doesn't have a history of pissing off woemen, the millennials and ex-Ron Paulers absolutely love him, blue state bolshies would vote for Cthulhu before Trump...I see him winning easily.

I hoped for a Rand vs Bernie, real capitalism vs real socialism debate instead of the usual debate on degrees of corporatism. I actually saw Sanders as the lesser of two evils against Trump-- Trump was a devil I didn't know. Sanders would bring an honest debate.

2016 has changed a lot for me. I never thought I'd prefer status quo, but the direction the SJWs want is insanity and evil-- Jacobins, Bolsheviks, etc.

On Facebook, the only Democrats that I see posting are the whacko SJWs. I think they are scaring regular Democrats. I saw regular Democrats getting chewed out by whackos for not showing enough outrage at Nick Sandmann. Also the traditional blue collar base wants jobs building cars, airplanes, and houses. They don't want a liveable wage to flip burgers at McDonald's or greet at Walmart.

I have been wrong with my predictions, but...

But millennials make up the bulk of Bernies supporters. I don't think you can win the general election relying soley on one group. Thats the only group of people he count on voting for him. Plus most people I know over the age of 40 don't even like the guy and think he's too old to run.

Hard to say, but a lot of Bernie's hardcore supporters were pissed when he rolled over for the cheating Hillary and DNC and ended up with new sports cars and houses and $#@!.

Any Democrat can win. In fact, Democrats pretty much have 49.9% of the popular vote by default; Republicans have to get the stars aligned in order to pull off a win (and even then through the Electoral College). Trump won by a $#@! stain margin, and you know the voter/election fraud will be of absolutely epic proportions in order to ensure that key states (like Florida) flip back to blue. The midterm election was a dry-run for this, which is why all of the post election day flips went blue, rather than red.

By all rights, Trump should win in a landslide since the Democratic party is balls to the wall crazy right now, but this isn't 1984 (the year, not the book), and Trump isn't going to get CA, NY, or any other Democrat stronghold.

Exactly .It will be very, very close . Trump has all the pressure , he basically has to win the same states again even with the coming massive dem fraud and freebies talked about like coupons with no expiration date. Half the country are rabid communists so all others will have to vote to defeat them . If there are any blue collar tax paying dems left they are not going to vote for bernie if they do not have children aged 14 to 22 , Bernie clean sweeps the 20's and under crowd except in the reddest of states . One percent will decide .

And they'll make sure to seal all of the holes that allowed for a Trump to win in the first place. We're approaching the end game by my estimation.

It is the same here too... I have 11 Grandchildren and as far as their future is concerned I think we are on the very edge of the abyss. And I am finding myself not caring a whole lot about being selective what I grab onto to keep from them from falling. I think we are in a do or die situation here and have no other option. A whole lot still needs to be reversed or put in check before we can afford to be selective again. And anyone who doesn't see this reality is a either a communist or just a plain ignorant fool.

I I dunno, the guy even couldn't stand up to Hillary Clinton, how in the world he'll be able to have a successfull summit with a brutal dictator like Kim Jung Un of North Korea?

Libertarians have a love affair with losing. I remember years ago, people criticizing Rand for not being "libertarian" enough on one issue or another. Even then, I recall arguing that we need to put some points on the board instead of getting obsessed with every perceived transgression. We're quickly approaching end game and Ron Paul isn't going to be President, nor is Rand Paul, and even if they were it probably wouldn't be enough at this point.

The whole "two wings of the same eagle" argument doesn't apply anymore, at least not with the rank and file. The Democrats will never be our allies, and seek our utter destruction. All of the traction that Ron Paul made has been spent, and the closest we'll likely ever get is Trump, even if he is far removed from Ron Paul. I don't care to get into the nitty gritty about Trump here, but I have the feeling that he's the "last hurrah."
