If Assange is found guilty of conspiring with Manning under this indictment, which incorporates the Espionage Act, this will be a blow to the First Amendment. It will criminalize the news-gathering process and will be a precedent for future cases concerning leaks. This will be particularly so since substantially all leaks in the future will be computer-generated.
And so, while the indictment by itself is bad enough, there still is more to come, such as further indictments of Assange. All we are seeing now is the tip of the legal iceberg.

Assange has been arrested in relation to a US extradition request for "conspiracy with Chelsea Manning" for publishing Iraq War Logs, Cablegate, Afghan War Logs, precisely the persecution for which he was granted asylum under the 1951 Refugee Convention in 2012. @unhumanrights
Granted to many this might appear to be yet another MAGA flip flop compared to his pre-election stances, it is possible that when he used the L-word about wikileaks back when he he was self-funding his campaign whereas post-election MAGA policies could be being influelnced by his alleged political slave master (who reportedly happens to be a primo neocon and had called for US to bomb Iran while conversing with controversial Rabbi Shmuley.
One of the various possible plausible explanations of this latest flip-floppish 5D chess move to confuse media or even neocons, Bolton, Pompeo, Iraq war architect Eliot Abrams, Jeffrey Epstein 'sweet dealer' etc in his cabinet? Or could be under pressure from NEXODUS neocons who have joined GOP.

This is a true watershed moment. Right now the people who pretend to be journalists and sell fake news to advertisers are cheering on the arrest of a real journalist. Some of the same people that cooked the Russian collusion hoax are now using Russiagate to silence anything that is critical to the military industrial complex. That's what he was telling us with the book he.had when he was arrested.

I think they'll get him to the U.S. I think it is all planned. They want to keep him alive as a side-show distraction right up through the 2020 elections.
I predict they'll keep him in solitary confinement, keep him isolated from press or public, and him and his attorneys under gag orders and other judicial restrictions.
The puppet masters handling Trump already pre-selected the venue - the Espionage court in Virginia. The court will do whatever bidding the deep state, intelligence lords want.
Assange will be psychologically tortured - isolated in solitary and kept from visitors like they did to Manning, and to Maria Butina and until she agreed to cooperate with prosecutors to enter a plea. Perhaps they'll force him to exist stripped completely naked 24/7 in his isolation like they did to Manning "for his own protection".
All the while they will continue to leak whatever statements, or information they wish with the lapdog press dutifully repeating unquestionable was they carry out their role as propaganda arm for the empire. Keep Assange a distraction for the 2020 elections. Smear any candidates that defend Assange's heroics as "unpatriotic", "Supporting espionage", "supporting Russia", or whatever other scary distraction nonsense to keep focus away form the antics and crimes of the empire.
Assange is a Hero! He did the right thing despite all risk, and Empire rules and threats to the contrary. Assange is more of an American patriot than our idiot puppet-in-chief or any of his deep state goons partaking in this persecution.

Just when you thought the U.S. government couldn’t get more horrific than Eric Holder and Obama, we get Mike Pompeo and John Bolton. Trump is an irrelevant figurehead at this point.
So, now that’s the story. Manning and Assange were working together as active co-conspirators. But, note, Assange isn’t being charged with espionage.
Given the history of Manning’s treatment it will not be hard to discredit her as a witness if Assange ever gets a trial, which he won’t. He’ll be thrown in a hole alongside Manning.
Publishing this indictment is fodder for the MSM to turn public opinion away from Assange with Trump’s base, the traditional, patriotic part of the MAGA crowd. They will focus on this charge that Assange worked with Manning to try and hack the computer to steal secrets.

If he did that then then he can be smeared to having done it again with the Russians to hack the DNC servers to get Podesta’s emails. … Hillary herself weighing in on the subject, gloating that Assange will “now have to answer for what he has done.” …
Worse, Assange will now be used to distract us for another year and a half through next year’s election. Present as a ghost, like Paul Manafort, but silenced through gag orders, solitary confinement and judicial prerogative.

No single person. place or, thing got Trump elected. Julian was just one factor. If you wanted to boil it down to one reason why Trump won it would be because he wasn't Hillary. The conservative movement has been repressed for quite a number of years. There are a lot of people with conservative type social and fiscal values who are just getting plain sick of all the nonsense.
If we closely examine Ron Paul's past 3 presidential runs we can see in great detail how this movement has been down graded to as Nancy P would say to "astro-turf". The media down played Ron Paul as much as possible and labeled us racist terrorist. The IRS has been weaponized against conservative political action groups. We don't need more evidence that tptb want us silenced at any cost.
If by some miracle Ron had won he would be having a lot of problems. The ptb are not going to let any president do what the conservatives want. All Trump has really done for us is show how big the conservative movement is. I don't know if our values will ever get anything out of politics but, a bunch of lip service.
I think Candice Owens, Sara Palin, Catherine Austin Fitts, and Roseanne Barr ought to take over the conservative political arena it is an extraordinary combination of beauty, brains,guts and, charisma.
