It's up to how Barr approaches it at this point. I'm hoping they have made some kind of deal for information. And who would be better to ask for information than a third party vendor, can't ask the FBI or CIA with any trust.

Heres hopin' he will provide the goods on Clinton, Obama, all the other criminals!
After that, America can throw him a ticker tape parade (or modern equivelant)... not in NYC though, f*** all those progressive $#@!hole cities!

Even if he does have a choice, he will choose self-serving corruption free from all ethical constraints. That's his nature, demonstrated over his entire life.

Not for sure but it looks like maybe 8 years unless they can present that it could have created death or injury. I didn't read it deep yet because I have to run for the day, but here it is if anyone wants to dig more.

Probably no limitations for Assange, but everything Hillary and friends did is probably very close to expiring.

Well said and the sad truth. It has been so long now I have honestly forgotten what computers they hacked. From what I was reading there is a huge difference if it was a private computer or a .gov computer. If it was private looks like it might actually be a civil case?

If I was writing Trump Fan Fiction, I'd have him bring Assange in, drop all charge, give him a medal and a meal, then trot him out for a press conference and announce that Assange was "Real News", not "Fake News".

  11. #39
I hope Assange has back pocket information dumps ready to go in case this happened.

    Poor bastard.

Prediction: he'll be very quietly found guilty of conspiracy to possibly having committed unknown acts of hanky-panky, hustled off to some obscure prison somewhere, to permanently disappear from the public eye, until dead.

    Think "Manny Noriega".

For time being , neoconservatives winning streak continues:

    WikiLeaks‏@wikileaks · 2 min.
Assange has been arrested in relation to a US extradition request for "conspiracy with Chelsea Manning" for publishing Iraq War Logs, Cablegate, Afghan War Logs, precisely the persecution for which he was granted asylum under the 1951 Refugee Convention in 2012. @unhumanrights
Iraq invasion architect Elliott Abrams quietly slips into Trump administration

That said, to be fair there are no reports of MAGA team saying 'Thank you Deep State'.

This whole thing should be a worldwide wake up call. Its nothing but an open bearnaked act showing that governments will do whatever it takes to silence those who provide truth to the people.

I don't see why not. He has spent more time under self-imposed imprisonment, than he could get at the MAX for the charges filed against him.
And Obama commuted Manning's sentence after 6 years of a 35 year sentence. And manning is the one that did the real dirt.

On the liberty report they said they have arrested Manning as well.

Completely unrelated issue really. He is under arrest for refusing to testify, right?

The press has already said that Trump says that whatever happens is up to the attorney general.

    Donald strikes again:

"I know nothing about Wikileaks. It's not my thing."
    https://www.usatoday.com/story/news/...ng/3434792002/

“I know nothing about WikiLeaks," Trump told reporters in the Oval Office. "It’s not my thing."

Trump said he didn't know anything about Assange's arrest and said what happens next is up to the attorney general.

"I know nothing really about it — it’s not my deal in life," he said.

Good timing too. Just when the reality show was starting to get a bit boring.

Chelsea Manning jailed for contempt of court

Former Army intelligence officer Chelsea Manning was jailed Friday for contempt of court after she refused to testify in a closed-door grand jury hearing related to WikiLeaks, the site to which she sent classified documents in 2010.

A statement from Manning's legal defense team confirmed that the whistleblower was taken into custody by order of a judge until she testified to the grand jury or the panel was dissolved.

What's breaking the law got to do with whether or not the state will throw in prison if it wants/needs to?
