Matthew Ridenhour is running for the 9th District U.S. House seat in North Carolina. He is the founder of the Charlotte (NC) Tea Party, was a RNC Delegate for Ron Paul in 2012, and served 3 terms on the Mecklenburg County Board of Commissioners. He is a U.S. Marine Corps veteran who served 2 tours in Iraq, and now endorses a non-interventionist foreign policy.
The 9th District is the site of a special election ordered by the North Carolina Board of Elections in the wake of a scandal which saw the 2018 GOP nominee caught up in accusations of ballot-harvesting. The previous nominee chose not to run in the special election, opening up the opportunity for a Liberty candidate to run.
Matthew has a 10-way primary, but is considered by most observers to be one of the 2 or 3 front-runners for this seat. He will be receiving a big endorsement from Kentucky tomorrow.
Please check him out at https://voteridenhour.com/ Door knockers and phone bankers will be needed, and donations are always welcome!
