No, I advocate for active border security measures in addition to ending artificial incentives.

These people take a lot of risk - they do so for reward... Disincentivization starts with the welfare, it moves on to employment - punish employers who hire illegals. Throw people like trump in jail. It will be effective.

You can do some of that but if you do very much it will create a much larger police state than securing the border will.

I do like the point you make about support - as I've said many times before, the illegal immigration issue becomes very small when you compare it to the bulk of socialist America.
