"...Safe Spaces for Soft Landing Places..."

So, my sister works at Starbucks and this week at her management meeting they dropped this ome on everyone:

In order to create community and create a warm, inclusive environment for eveyone, they need to "create safe spaces for soft landing places."

After I finished laughing at the utter ridiculousness of the whole thing I found myself scratching my head and asking "WTF does that even mean?" What, are they going to go around to their stores spreading mattresses and pillows around?

I figured it would be worth a laugh or two to post it for everyone's amusement.

    I see the problem.

    I don't want "community".

    I don't want to "include".

I reckon I don't want to be within a thousand yards of fully 80 percent of idiot AmeriKunts.

You might be surprised. Corporate trainers have a penchant for pranks and suggestive language based on my experience. Most of the time nobody calls them out on that anyway as everybody is pretending they must have heard something deep which will be disclosed once they reach the right level within the org.
