He doesn't need to watch the video to know that comment is completely irrelevant to it. Just looking at the screen without clicking "play", one sees 28 countries with central banks named, and the U.S. of A. isn't a single one of them.
But clearly if central banks are mentioned and he doesn't pop up and post something exculpatory about the Fed, he'll be fired. So...

CBs buying gold is somewhat relevant since it adds to existing stores but China and Russia, in particular, mine way more than they buy and export very little of it. Can't trust any of the official numbers from any country imo. At least not until gold officially becomes currency backing again.
