Voting (i.e. legal robbery) inevitably leads to barbarity; it makes no difference in the end who's doing the voting.

However, in the current political situation, it is you, with your irrational hatred of all foreigners, who are the barbarians.

Cosmopolitanism is a sign of a high culture and civilization: provincialism, a sign of decline and collapse.

It doesn't inevitably lead to anything and it makes an immense amount of difference who votes.

I have no irrational hatred of anyone and the communists are the barbarians, communism is just short of cannibalism in its barbarity.

    You have that exactly backwards.

No one claiming to be remotely informed can call $22trillion in national debt, with hundreds of trillions in unfunded liabilities, where every FRN in existence is created from debt and where none of us legally own anything simply because you can't pay a debt with more debt, to be "rich" and "prosperous". All that you view as "wealth" is debt and best believe that the creditors fully intend to collect on every last fiat penny of that debt. Immigrants that come here thinking that this is a "rich" country are ignorant of the reality of the situation. The funny part is that apparently you are no more educated to the reality than they are. It's a 3rd grade level education talking point, nothing more.

There is an abundance of resources here that are relatively easy to access, that is all the immigrants know or care about and that is all I was talking about and all that matters as far as this subject is concerned.

If we ended welfare and restored liberty there would be more and truer prosperity and they would still come here and vote for socialism in order to easily access it.

It is our duty to retain and restore as much liberty as we can so that future generations will have a better shot at true liberty, letting the barbarians in to smother it entirely is a dereliction of that duty.

AF's post #66 was not quoted in your post #216. AF edited post #66, but I don't know what he is being supposed to have "scrubbed" from it.

AF's post #157 was quoted in post #216 - but it was neither edited nor "scrubbed" by him (although parts of it were omitted from your quotation of it).

You need a new playbook with more accurate definitions (assuming that being factual is actually a goal for you).

    https://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/liberty

Definition of liberty (Entry 1 of 2)
1 : the quality or state of being free:
a : the power to do as one pleases
b : freedom from physical restraint
c : freedom from arbitrary or despotic (see DESPOT sense 1) control
d : the positive enjoyment of various social, political, or economic rights and privileges
e : the power of choice
If the definition of "liberty" you have cited is supposed to be a "more accurate" one for Swordsmyth's "new playbook", then I am failing to see how it undercuts his claim that liberty is exclusive of "the freedom to engage in tyranny". If anything, entry 1c from your citation rather seems to support that claim. (And note that this is so regardless of whether or not you agree with the position in support of which Swordsmyth made that claim - i.e., regardless of whether or not you think Swordsmyth is completely full of $#@! about immigration.)

This is (yet another) perfect illustration of why it is silly and pointless to play the "dueling dictionaries" game for anything other than resolving disputes over etymology or colloquial usage. They really need to assign a new category of informal fallacy for this kind of thing: call it argumentum ad vocabulum ...

Thanks for the correction! I suppose that which post it was had gotten lost in the shuffle among pages and pages of trumpette drivel, and I was looking at the wrong post. My bad, and apologies to AF for saying that he scrubbed the post, when he didn't! At least he's standing behind those words.
