Don't know which foul territory distance is worse for fans: Oakland Coliseum or this deal in Panama City.

Holy crap; I'd hate to watch a game from either one. Good for pitchers though!

Can't believe there hasn't been any other player that's been MVP in both leagues.

Muh A's win tonight at Camden , move to 8 - 8 . The AL West is a combined 25 - 6 in home games inside the US this season. Division winner will be clear AL favorite I think . Go A's !

    A's 9 - 8 start so much better than last years 6 - 10 start .

    A's Davis hits tenth homer tonight in 18 games as A's move ahead 7 - 6 in the 8th after trailing 6 - 1

Need 3 outs to move to 10 - 8 on the season , leading 8 - 6 , got 8 hits from the bottom four in the order tonight , I'll take it

A's hit multiple homers for 6 consecutive games ( done it five previous times ) , won four in a row . If they hit two homers next game it would set a new club record .

A's game tonight at texas postponed for rain . I put on Texas Flood .

It's early yet but who would have thought the Padres would have a two game lead over the Dodgers? Most wins in the National League. (Mets have played two fewer games and have one less win).

  16. #14
A's lead 7 - 2 after 3 1/2 innings , have two home runs breaking the club record for most consecutive games ( 7 ) with two or more home runs . Old mark was six consecutive games .

A win tomorrow gets my A's back to .500 and right in the hunt only a game or two behind the last couple playoff teams . Won 5 in a row and 7 of 10 to get here after a big losing skid . A win tomorrow would get us to 25 . Boston & Cleveland have 25 ( .521 and .532 )and Tampa has 27 ( .600). Go A's ! Cleveland looks suspect going forward , they do not score a lot of runs , Boston is trailing the yankees and Tampa . Muh A's just have to continue to improve on the road .

A's win 11 of 15 and head home after three cities in ten days going 6 - 2 on the road and winning 6 in a row . I think we have the edge in starting pitching in next game with Seattle . Go A's !

Pretty amusing how degenerate liberal sportswriters snubbed Schilling again.

If you actually look at the analytics of his career for just the regular season, he had a borderline first ballot HOF career. On top of that he is arguably the best post-season pitcher in baseball history. Putting guys like Smoltz, Halladay, Mussina in ahead of Schilling is getting kind of silly. There were basically three pitchers (Johnson, Maddux, Pedro Martinez) who were clearly better than Schilling when he pitched. After that you could make the argument Schilling was the fourth best pitcher in baseball from his era.

A's win 9 of last 12 against Indians and we have done better than that against the Tigers . We are going to need to win like that against the Angels , Mariners and Rangers .

A's trying to win 8th in a row today to move to 27 wins and just a half game back of a playoff spot team. Go A's !

A's will be looking for win # 28 tonight and ninth win in a row . Go A's ! A's win will tie us with the red sox for fifth best record in the American League . Zip's Padres are contenders trailing the Braves & Brewers by only a game , game and a half .

Padres scored 19 runs in Toronto this week. Seven home runs 19-4. (then lost 10-1 the next night there). They do have troubles vs the Dodgers- lost 4 of five so far. Currently at the Yankees.

A's 3B Chapman homers in third consecutive game , A's with three homers today , after 8 leading 8 to 5 on ten hits Three more outs and our tenth win in a row . Go A's !

A's control own destiny now . With today's win they are in sole possession of the last playoff spot in the AL . Just have to keep it now and keep winning. Finally out of the hole from the big losing streak now with today's Tenth win in a row .

Yes , the starting pitching has been good enough , but where we are now feels much better than the 19 - 25 we were on May 14
