    America: The new Socialist frontier

The 2018 Democratic victory in the midterms brought new Marxist arrivals to the House of Representatives who are interpreting the elections as an endorsement of socialist policies. They dropped all the pretenses — no liberals, no progressives — they are proud Marxist-Leninists driven by the ideology and committed to converting this country into the United Socialist States of America.

Except as to the rule of appointment, the United States have an indefinite discretion to make requisitions for men and money; but they have no authority to raise either by regulations extending to the individual citizens of America.

    Yup, no doubt about that.

It's pretty easy to figure out, the cities go first, and outward from there... and as the cities keep going downhill they blame everyone else for making it that way, and then sell the masses guilt.

Who started all this socialist infiltration stuff?

It's always been there, since the last migrant invasion over a 100 years ago now.

This current revival is the culmination of 50 plus years of effort in government, schools, media and cultural institutions.

It would be nice if the author of that article had provided quotes doing this from the people he's talking about.

How does he manage to get something like this published without doing something as basic as that?

Almost nobody is genuinely an ML except kids in basements.

These people think medicaid for all counts as socialism.
    In New Zealand:
    The Coastguard is a Charity
Air Traffic Control is a private company run on user fees
The DMV is a private non-profit
Rescue helicopters and ambulances are operated by charities and are plastered with corporate logos
The agriculture industry has zero subsidies
5% of the national vote, gets you 5 seats in Parliament
A tax return has 4 fields
    Business licenses aren't a thing
    Prostitution is legal
We have a constitutional right to refuse any type of medical care

Occasio-Cortez is a card carrying member of DSA. Many in Congress share this ideology.

    1) What does DSA believe in?

Like most socialist organizations, DSA believes in the abolition of capitalism in favor of an economy run either by “the workers” or the state — though the exact specifics of “abolishing capitalism” are fiercely debated by socialists.

“The academic debates about socialism’s ‘meaning’ are huge and arcane and rife with disagreements, but what all definitions have in common is either the elimination of the market or its strict containment,” said Frances Fox Piven, a scholar of the left at the City University of New York and a former DSA board member.

In practice, that means DSA believes in ending the private ownership of a wide range of industries whose products are viewed as “necessities,” which they say should not be left to those seeking to turn a profit. According to DSA’s current mission statement, the government should ensure all citizens receive adequate food, housing, health care, child care, and education. DSA also believes that the government should “democratize” private businesses — i.e., force owners to give workers control over them — to the greatest extent possible.

But DSA members also say that overthrowing capitalism must include the eradication of “hierarchical systems” that lie beyond the market as well. As a result, DSA supports the missions of Black Lives Matter, gay and lesbian rights, and environmentalism as integral parts of this broader “anti-capitalist” program.

$#@! son, Jacinda Ardern was the President of communist youth international or whatever its called now.

She has full run of the country and doesn't know if Cannabis should be legal or not.

Not every politician is working on Ron Paul grade ideology and principles. Most of them are winging it.

If you had judged her by her cover you would think she was a marxist ideologue. Turns our she just knows how to become the head of bureaucracies.
