Why Trump is not applauded as the first self-funded POTUS / non-puppet of lobbies?

As he had assured public many many times in ads, speeches, tweets.. MAGA was the only candidate in modern history who was not funded by any special interests/lobbiysts etc and is not a puppet of any money baggers. Despite media theories about him being a fake mega billionaire, he self-funded his campiagn so he can put America First without the need for obeying orders of donors, puppet masters, foreign lobbies etc.
Yet he's almost never appluded for such a distinguishing achievement by media or even by MAGA's own insider circle/supporters.
    Strange.

Long story short, MAGA is nobody's b-word.

    Federal Funds $0 0.00%
    Other $134,607,903 40.24%

The shocker I see in that link :

While Trump raised less money than his Democratic rival, Hillary Clinton, he received free media attention valued at about $5 billion.
Also with all the money going to Trump associated businesses I guess we know what special interests he is beholden to.

Of course I'm sure the real reason is that with all the winning going on he can't be bothered to recall this one trivial detail, it's not like he keeps talking about the election at all. https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/...=.175ef23d2bd4

To be fair, there are some conflicting news/views regarding above claims that MSM /GOP-MAGA wing may need to respond to to set the record straight:
