Your party will fund campaigns that slander you.

Unless your bill gets put forward by the speaker it never gets voted on. They can even put language in a different Bill that makes it impossible to bring up your Bill.

The most elite 4 people go to the White House and decide what to put in a Bill. They write the Bill putting what they want in it. They print out a 2,300 page Bill present it to the lower echelon of Congress 8 hours prior to a scheduled vote.

People get elected to office with the best intentions but cave shortly afterwards because they have to produce money to be on committees.

Take the Speaker of the House for example. He/She has to raise a huge sum of money each election cycle. He/She gets the money from lobbyists. He/She will only put forward Bill's that enhance their pocketbook or that at minimum does not upset the people/entities that are giving them the $$$.
