    Smile Merry Christmas RPF'rs

Will be taking a little time over the holiday... just wanted to wish everyone here a merry one. I've found this to be a good place for me to speak my mind, to learn & to laugh, so thanks & may you all come away with what liberties we have left intact for many years to come.

Danke is too hard to catch let alone trying to put him in a box.

When I was in the next county over I once recvd a letter that about only the top left hand corner remained with part of the return address , the rest having been shredded in a sorter or conveyor belt it appeared .. I asked the mail carrier how she knew it was for me . She said she recognized Hank from new yorks name and knew it was for me

Most of us have been described thus...
Liberty is lost through complacency and a subservient mindset. When we accept or even welcome automobile checkpoints, random searches, mandatory identification cards, and paramilitary police in our streets, we have lost a vital part of our American heritage. America was born of protest, revolution, and mistrust of government. Subservient societies neither maintain nor deserve freedom for long.

I'll make you a fruit cake. Just send an eagle to come pick it up. He won't have to travel very far.

I have only ever had one good fruit cake and my granny made it. She soaked them in bourbon. She is dead now so I won't be eating or sending any bull$#@! bourbonless fruit cakes to people I like. When she was cooking, she would let me taste the candied green cherries on the down low. My mom wouldn't let me eat them because they were expensive. I thought candied green cherries were the fanciest things I had ever seen.

I have a nasty cold and when I dosed myself with NyQuil and passed out last night the sink was full of dirty dishes. When I woke up this morning, the kitchen was spotless. It was a Christmas miracle.

My grandmother made a Japanese fruit cake with 4 layers and ground raisins and coconut. She would make extra for me to take back to school when I was in college.
