    Farage Quits UKIP

Nigel Farage, the man widely credited as the architect of the Brexit referendum, is leaving the UK Independence Party - a party that he used to lead - because of concerns that its members are becoming too closely associated with Islamophobia, and participating in street gangs.
Farage - who announced his decision on his radio show and in a letter published by the Daily Telegraph - explained his decision by accusing the party of drifting too far to the right. Its members are now too focused on marching in support of far-right groups like the English Defence League and its founder, Tommy Robinson - whom Farage singled out for criticism in his letter - and not focused enough on winning elections.
"And so, with a heavy heart, and after all my years of devotion to the party, I am leaving Ukip today. There is a huge space for a Brexit party in British politics, but it won’t be filled by Ukip."
Farage presently serves as a minister in the European Parliament.
Farage: The very idea of Tommy Robinson being at the centre of the Brexit debate is too awful to contemplate.

And so, with a heavy heart, and after all my years of devotion to the party, I am leaving Ukip today.

Nigel Farage has left Ukip. Is it like the ravens leaving the Tower of London, or does it just leave Gerard Batten & Tommy Robinson to sail serenely into a far-right future?https://t.co/dhPAfN6QkC

Speculation that Farage might join forces with Boris Johnson to start a new pro-Brexit party is already beginning to spread.

Dunno about controlled opposition but the I knew something was off the moment he went out of his way to endorse Trump. Btw, Tommy Robinson is definitely controlled opposition and/or a moron, I can see how one would want to disassociate themselves with any group associated with him.

Clown for a president fits right in.
Liberty is lost through complacency and a subservient mindset. When we accept or even welcome automobile checkpoints, random searches, mandatory identification cards, and paramilitary police in our streets, we have lost a vital part of our American heritage. America was born of protest, revolution, and mistrust of government. Subservient societies neither maintain nor deserve freedom for long.

Former Ukip leader Nigel Farage has endorsed a new pro-Brexit party as he vowed a return to frontline politics if Britain doesn’t leave the EU on March 29.
The MEP for the South East was approached last week by former activists for Ukip who have applied to register the Brexit Party with the Electoral Commission.
Former Ukip economics spokeswoman Catherine Blaiklock has applied to register the new party, according to The Sun on Sunday.
The paper said that Mr Farage had been sounded out as a possible leader.

He told the paper: "This was Catherine's idea entirely - but she has done this with my full knowledge and my full support.
"If the Government goes back on its word and betrays the millions of people who voted for Brexit then we need a party prepared to stand up and fight for it.
"I'm fully prepared for Article 50 to be extended or revoked and if that happens, I will re-enter the fray."
He added that there would be a "huge public backlash" should Prime Minister Theresa May look to extend Brexit beyond March and that people would "flock" to a "real pro-Brexit party".

Farage, like Rand, is terrified of being called a racist. He'll disassociate from anyone to avoid the charge, which is why he refuses to associate with a working-class, non-racialist classical liberal like Tommy Robinson.

Rand didn't leave the GOP because of Trump, he isn't even afraid of associating with Trump and Trump has been labeled a "racist".

Tommy Robinson is far too one issue based. He's not well rounded.

Former UK Independence Party (UKIP) leader and prominent Brexit supporter Nigel Farage announced Friday that a new “Brexit Party” has been formed with his approval

Writing in London’s The Telegraph newspaper, Farage stated, “The party was founded with my full support and with the intention of fighting the European elections on May 23 if Brexit has not been delivered by then.”

British electoral authorities confirmed they had recognized the party, which Farage formed with Brexiteer and UKIP former economic spokeswoman Catherine Blaiklock, meaning it can contest elections in the UK.
