We've never been party to any major disagreement, so I'm not sure what all the vitriol is for, but, whatever.

If you're trying to make the case that the seafloor should be bought and sold as private property, you probably have a point, although if your goal is to stop offshore oil drilling, all that would do is make it easier, with less oversight and regulation.

Well, look, if you live your life without paying a single dime in taxes, without ever using a government road, or getting off the island through government airport or navigating through a government maintained waterway, or using government printed FRNs, then good for you, you're a better man than I, and I truly mean that, the same way I do when I meet people that will not pay income taxes out of principle.
