AntiFederalist, I was in Waco over this summer where the Branch Davidian used to be. It’s hard to put any of it into context because there is no museum or anything and it is out on a long dirt road to get there. Plus there is nobody there. All it is is a small memorial that has a donation box.it wasn’t at all what I expected.

A long dirt road because they were out in the middle of nowhere not bothering anybody is what got them killed.

I expected there to at least be a museum or some type of place marking where the Branch Davidian at least was.

I predicted they would. Absolutely. Nothing short of an, appropriately, red welcome carpet will do for the Commune-iststas. When a horde is tearing down your gates it is, indeed, an invasion.

I disagree. Were they to get even that, that same day they would loudly proclaim it was done wrong, was more proof of white male privilege, everyone should support their new (and more dastardly cause), and Trump should be impeached.

There is simply NO appeasing them, bud. Even open pedophilia in streets lined with the bodies of aborted children, wouldn't do it, for as long as there was ONE thing left good in all of the world.

Not me . I am actually surprised you could even drive there . I would have expected the taxpayers had been stuck with the bill to fence everyone out and the county, city or state to have confiscated the land .

What gets me about these assclowns how weak and easily defeated they are, yet they largely go unchallenged.

A fool takes up arms against "darkness", stumbling blindly and swinging his sword against the black night until he collapses under his own weight.
Darkness is defeated by light, and only light.

I'm not wasting my time and energy by arguing with the darkness... trying to convince it stop being darkness; the very idea is mad.

No kidding. When this happened, I called my husband at work. Ever the skeptic, he didn’t believe me.

This was one of the most hideous things ever carried out on American soil.

I am going to keep reminding you all to look at the pictures and videos carefully. The people you see have not been walking thousands of miles. They are not starving or dehydrated. They are clean and well dressed with modern clothing and technology. A lot of them are wearing plastic flip flops. Those things would not hold up at a day at the beach, much less a thousand miles across the desert. These are not people running away from the horrors of their countries. They aren’t.

Past administrations used the same tactics to deter illegal immigrants. Nothing was said. Nothing was displayed by the media, no dramatic footage, nothing.

But, we need to care now, because the media says so. And we need to turn our heads to the man directing such mayhem and human rights abuses, the dictator occupying the white house throne, because again, the media told us so.

Yet when Obama was using tear gas they didn't have any issue with it whatsoever.

The same tear-gas agent that the Trump administration is taking heat for deploying against a border mob this weekend is actually used fairly frequently — including more than once a month during the later years of President Barack Obama’s administration, according to Homeland Security data.
U.S. Customs and Border Protection has used 2-chlorobenzylidene malononitrile, or CS, since 2010, and deployed it 26 times in fiscal 2012 and 27 times in 2013. The use dropped after that, but was still deployed three times in 2016, Mr. Obama’s final full year in office.
Use of CS rose again in fiscal 2017, which was split between Mr. Obama and Mr. Trump, and reached 29 deployments in fiscal 2018, which ended two months ago, according to CBP data seen by The Washington Times.

Obama's Administration used tear gas and pepper spray too.

    https://www.newsweek.com/obama-admin...p-data-1233255

However, the data also showed that the substance was deployed nearly the same number of times in fiscal years 2012 and 2013 under former President Barack Obama, with CBP using the substance 26 times in fiscal year 2012 and 27 times in fiscal year 2013.

CBP's use of tear gas appeared to decline in the following years, with 15 uses in fiscal year 2014, eight in fiscal year 2015 and even fewer in fiscal year 2016, with three recorded instances.

As Trump took office, the numbers began to rise again in fiscal year 2017, climbing to 18 deployments of tear gas, before reaching fiscal year 2018's record high of 29 uses.

CBP also noted in its statement that in addition to using tear gas, the agency also "regularly uses" Pava Capsaicin, or pepper spray.

In terms of pepper spray use, deployments appeared to soar under the Obama administration, with CBP personnel using the substance 95 times in fiscal year 2012, a number that climbed to 151 in 2013, before dropping to 109 in fiscal year 2014.
