President Trump Makes Baseless Claim That Voters Change Clothes to Cast Multiple Votes

President Trump is once again making baseless allegations about voter fraud, this time saying people are casting additional ballots by changing their clothes and returning to polling places.

Trump made the claims in an interview with Daily Caller on Wednesday, where he also called for Florida’s Broward County Elections Supervisor Brenda Snipes to be fired. Counties in the state, including Broward County, are currently performing a recount in Florida’s gubernatorial and senate races.

“The Republicans don’t win and that’s because of potentially illegal votes,” he said to the Daily Caller. “When people get in line that have absolutely no right to vote and they go around in circles. Sometimes they go to their car, put on a different hat, put on a different shirt, come in and vote again. Nobody takes anything. It’s really a disgrace what’s going on."

He offered no evidence for his claim.

    Florida voting rules:

What kind of identification do I need to bring to the polls?

When you go to the polling place to vote, you will be asked to provide a current and valid picture identification with a signature. Approved forms of picture identification are: Florida driver's license; Florida identification card issued by the Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles; United States passport; debit or credit card; military identification; student identification; retirement center identification; neighborhood association identification; public assistance identification; veteran health identification card issued by the United States Department of Veterans Affairs; license to carry a concealed weapon or firearm issued pursuant to s. 790.06; or an employee identification card issued by any branch, department, agency, or entity of the Federal Government, the state, a county, or a municipality (Section 101.043, F.S.). If the picture identification does not contain a signature, you will be asked to provide an additional identification with your signature.
Changing clothes won't work without an ID.

"The disgrace is that, voter ID. If you buy, you know, a box of cereal, if you do anything, you have a voter ID,"

I get ID'd all the time when I go to the store for cereal. Doesn't everybody?

He's clearly wrong. They don't change their clothes.
