Wasn't the fork announced a long time ago?
If you buy BCH with your bitcoin before the fork happens, you will get free tokens off the new fork(s).

But wouldn't that make Bitcoin go up between the announcement of the fork until the time of the fork?
No, you can buy the BCH any time before the fork happens. It just needs to be in a wallet that you own, or one on an exchange that supports the fork.
So let's say you had 4 bitcoin and 2 bitcoin cash.
In the days before the fork, you might sell a small portion of bitcoin and buy 4 bitcoin cash. Now you have 6 bitcoin cash. Then the fork happens and now you have 6 bitcoin cash, 6 bitcoin cash ABC and 6 bitcoin cash SV or whatever (it looks like it's going to double fork). Now you can sell your 4 bitcoin cash back for bitcoin, and you have 2 bitcoin cash, the extra 4 bitcoin cash ABC for a total of 6 and extra 4 bitcoin cash SV for a total of 6.
Of course prices on all of these are going to be constantly fluctuating, so how one would make out is questionable but if you think the new bitcoin cash forks are worth owning, it is easy to get it on it by selling some BTC for bitcoin cash and then selling back later.
