Media attacks on Trump son-in-law escalate following alleged killing of journalist by his chum

As scandal involving journalist torture/killing by Trump's son-in-law Kushner's chum dictator grows, media attacks against him have escalated.
Kushner still seems to be allied with alleged butcher dictator. If accusations in these reports are confirmed, can GOP survive if it did not distance itself from Jarvanka wing?

Saudi Arabia’s barbaric, blood-soaked tyrant MBS is no Crown Prince Charming - it’s time President Trump held his medieval mate’s feet to the fire

    By Piers Morgan
    18 October 2018

What’s the worst way to possibly die?

It’s hard to imagine anything more sickening and barbaric than what is alleged to have happened to Saudi Arabian journalist Jamal Khashoggi, a columnist for the Washington Post.

He was apparently lured to the Saudi consulate in Istanbul, Turkey, where he was confronted by a 15-man hit squad that had flown in from Riyadh to murder him.
But not, it is claimed, quickly.

Jamal Khashoggi died in one of the worst ways imaginable. For seven long minutes he was tortured and hacked to pieces with a bone-saw while he was still alive. His body carted off in bags to be dissolved in acid

He was dragged from the consul-general’s office to the table of a study next door.
There, for seven long, agonising minutes, Khashoggi was reportedly tortured and hacked to pieces with a bone-saw while he was still alive.
He was decapitated and had his fingers cut off one by one.
Then, the severed remains of his torso were put in 15 plastic bags and removed, to be later dissolved in acid.
Khashoggi’s ‘horrendous’ screams of pain were so loud they were heard downstairs by a witness.
The chief executioner was allegedly ‘Dr Death’ Salah Muhammad al-Tubaigy, ‘head of forensic evidence’ for the Saudi general security department.
His official title is President of the Saudi Fellowship of Forensic Pathology and he’s a man who enjoys his work.
As Tubaigy began to dismember Khashoggi’s body, he apparently put on earphones and listened to music, advising other members of the squad to do the same.

'Forensic expert': The chief executioner was allegedly ‘Dr Death’ Salah Muhammad al-Tubaigy, ‘head of forensic evidence’ for the Saudi general security department. He’s a man who enjoys his work. As Tubaigy began to dismember Khashoggi’s body, he apparently put on earphones and listened to music, advising other members of the squad to do the same

‘When I do this job, I listen to music,’ he was recorded as saying. ‘You should do (that) too.’

Aftewards, cleaning crews were brought in to scrub and repaint the blood-stained crime scene.

The more we learn about this horrific murder, the more disgusting it gets.

But one thing is increasingly obvious: he wasn’t killed ‘accidentally’ during a botched interrogation, as Saudi sources are desperately trying to suggest.

The consulate witness who heard the screams was clear: ‘They came to kill him to kill him, not interrogate him.’

    Of course they did.
A 15-man team of highly trained men including royal House of Saud bodyguards and intelligence officers weren’t sent from Saudi Arabia to Turkey to have a ‘little chat’ with Khashoggi.
They were sent to silence him – permanently.

And to do it in such a despicable and depraved manner that it would deter others from following his path.
And they would never have dared do this without the express knowledge and approval of Saudi Arabia’s new 33-year-old crown prince, Mohammed bin Salman, who likes to call himself ‘MBS’.
What had Khashoggi’s done to offend MBS?
Simple: he dared to tell the truth.

Three sources with knowledge of the situation say that Ari Emanuel told top clients and others close to him that he had called White House senior adviser and Donald Trump son-in-law Jared Kushner last week to relay his frustration with the fallout from Khashoggi’s disappearance and reports that a Saudi hit squad had killed him inside their consulate in Turkey.

This looks like media leftists' attack on a fellow leftist.
But how does US not selling $100 Billion worth of bombs/weapons to a dictator equates to "starting a war"... or are you aware of any calls by leftists to start war with rich dictatorship?

Recent wars escalations came from leftists within GOP-Jaravka wing.

It’s funny how the media has not called for sanctions or outrage against Saudi Arabia based upon the massive death and destruction in Yemen. Second only to the same silence on holding the Saudis accountable after 9/11.

Apparently all of that death and destruction is in no way as bad as the death of a single international progressive media propaganda mouthpiece.

    There is certainly hypocrisy there.
But above behavior is greatly bi-partisan and also applies to current fearless MAGA regime.
Above development is akin to infighting within bi-partisan Camp Hypocrisy.

One sliverlining for which credit could go to Trump is that so many things are coming out that used to be covered up in past decades. So that's the upside of this infighting. The age of dangerously excessive transparency almost.

Jared Kushner And Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed Bin Salman Reportedly Talk On WhatsApp

A CNN report said Kushner has been “quietly leveraging his close relationship” with Mohammed.

    By Jenna Amatulli
President Donald Trump’s son-in-law Jared Kushner was reportedly a cause for concern among national security staffers amid investigations into the disappearance of Washington Post journalist Jamal Khashoggi because Kushner was known to have messaged with Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman on WhatsApp.

A CNN report indicates that the White House senior adviser has been chummy with Mohammed for months, causing him to pull back from the public eye as details emerge about what happened to Khashoggi.

Khashoggi went missing on Oct. 2 after entering the Saudi Consulate in Istanbul and has not been seen in public since. The Wall Street Journal reported late Tuesday that Khashoggi appears to have been drugged, beaten, killed and dismembered by Saudi operatives in the presence of a top Saudi diplomat.

CNN reports that Kushner has been “operating behind-the-scenes to mitigate the fallout” and “quietly leveraging his close relationship” with Mohammed while treading lightly to avoid stepping on Secretary of State Mike Pompeo’s purview. Since officials expressed concern about Kushner’s conversations and messages with Mohammed outside official channels, Kushner has begun “notifying other members of the President’s team about his conversations and providing readouts afterward.”

Coulter thinks Kushner wrote The New York Times op-ed denouncing Trump and that he and Ivanka are anticipating a return to a liberal enclave after the Trump administration expires.

“If Trump realized that Jared Kushner was ruining his presidency and shot him, and then he fired the U.S. attorney investigating the crime, that would be a textbook case of obstruction of justice,” Coulter writes. “If he offered to pardon witnesses in exchange for their agreement to blame Steve Bannon for shooting Kushner—again: excellent example of obstruction of justice…But Trump hasn’t shot Kushner, and he probably won’t, since he doesn’t even realize that Kushner is wrecking his presidency.”
“Because he and Ivanka are going to have to go back to the Upper East Side and go to the Hamptons,” Coulter explains. “They’re probably worried that Trump will be removed within the next few years. They had just gone to the McCain funeral, and [the op-ed] was right after Labor Day, so they were probably feeling wistful for the Hamptons. And the only way they can get back in is if they can say, ‘Don’t worry, we’re the ones who stopped the wall.’”

Why the Khashoggi Murder Is a Disaster for Israel, Neocons' War Drive Against Syria & Iran

The grisly hit-job on Khashoggi has implications far beyond its exposure of the Saudi Crown Prince as brutal and reckless. In Jerusalem and D.C., they’re mourning their whole strategic concept for the Mideast - not least, for countering Iran

    Daniel B. Shapiro
    Oct 17, 2018 3:50 PM

The shocking brutality of Jamal Khashoggi’s abduction and murder by Saudi security forces cannot be papered over, no matter how implausibly it is dressed up as an interrogation gone wrong or the work of rogue actors.

But its implications go deeper than the tragedy visited upon Khashoggi’s family and fiancee. It raises fundamental questions for the United States and Israel about their whole strategic concept in the Middle East.

On the one hand, cynics could argue that the brazenness of Khashoggi’s murder differed only in degree, than kind, from the longstanding behavior of Arab autocrats, including those allied with the United States.

There are no boy scouts in the Middle East, and the U.S.-Saudi alliance has persisted through decades of repressive Saudi policies against their own people.
