    Trump needs to insult him.

Powell has made himself irrelevant. He was never a moral leader himself.

We do not elect a national pastor or chaplain. There is no religious test. In that light, Trump has done more to limit abortion than any other president, including the ones who claimed to ardently Christian and against the war on pre-born chidren.

Where do any of these asshats get the idea I want or look to them for 'leadership"?

I wouldn't trust a single one to "lead" their way to a whorehouse with a fistful of hundreds and a bag of Viagras.

They are there to represent me, to project my voice, my philosophy, my governing principles into the process.

After reading news like this, I instinctively want to become Trump supporter again.

It would be far less risky than Trump attacking McCain ... but GOP-Jarvanka wing's largest left-wing donors might not allow him to do that due to combined Iraq war role-skin color situation.

Of course with Powell we could be where my Grandmother would say the pot calling the kettle black but lets look past that . I would not care if Trump did not insult people at all , but it is his style even though it may hurt him . Is Trump moral ? Is Putin ? Was Obama ? in todays world that seems a little out there does it not ?

My Bay State Puritan ancestors of more than 300 years ago would not describe
Donald John Trump as being a moral leader, were they alive today and extremely
old. In terms of vintage Calvinism, he'd be seen as being part of the 90% who are
damned and not the 10% who are innately saved. They often were stricter than
VEEP Mike Pence. I don't agree with Colin Powell but I do like the topic header!

Duckie... By the old 1600s Puritan rules, half the Pilgrim colony on the Cape
would have been thought damned, too. Ben Franklin was one of their better
examples of adolescent rebellion and ALL modern Libertarians are too loose
living to be one of the saved. A religious THEOCRACY governs the U.K for a
decade or so because of what Oliver Cromwell did. Mores and morals need
to be understood in the light of our modern separation of church and state.

To be fair, Pence gave pretty measured response during tape scandal:

Mike Pence ‘Offended’ By Donald Trump’s Lewd Remarks About Women

“I do not condone his remarks and cannot defend them.”

Indiana Gov. Mike Pence, the Republican vice presidential nominee, released a statement Saturday denouncing lewd comments Donald Trump made about women in 2005, saying he “cannot defend them.”

“As a husband and father, I was offended by the words and actions described by Donald Trump in the eleven-year-old video released yesterday. I do not condone his remarks and cannot defend them,” Pence said in a statement. “I am grateful that he has expressed remorse and apologized to the American people. We pray for his family and look forward to the opportunity he has to show what is in his heart when he goes before the nation tomorrow night.”

The Washington Post published the footage of Trump on Friday. In it, Trump talks about trying to have sex with married women and being able to grab women “by the pussy” because of his fame.

President Trump uses the babies that he murders, for experiments.

Trump admin will continue almost $100 million of experiments on aborted babies, funded by taxpayers

WASHINGTON, D.C., September 25, 2018 (LifeSiteNews) – The Trump administration has canceled a $15,900 contract for medical research using aborted babies’ remains, but pro-lifers warn that far more funding – nearly $100 million – for similar experiments remains in place.

    From your article:

This FDA contract is a striking exception to a robust pro-life record that has won high praise from the pro-life movement. President Donald Trump has actively pursued numerous pro-life policies, including moves to partially defund Planned Parenthood through administrative actions.
He is just one man, he can't run the entire administration by himself.
