Ford didn't do very well, Kavanaugh gave an excellent, impassioned and very believable testimony.

Kavanaugh had a calendar/journal so he was able to document all the parties he went to and even wrote down who was at each party... all his activities, trips, etc.. everything documented. 65 people who he was close with in high school made statements, and none of them can corroborate any of this sort of behavior.

Anybody who is really paying attention knows exactly what is going on here.

What would he have to gain by lying about the drinking age? He would not put his credibility on the line for something so insignificant. Every kid or almost every kid drinks alcohol.

For the record, the wording I heard him use was "Seniors were legal".

When the drinking age was raised in my state (very late 70s or very early 80s), people who turned, or were about to turn 18, were "grandfathered", or exempted, from the new law. You remained legal and could still drink at 18, 19 & 20. In fact, I think what they did was raise the legal age in increments for a few years. Your year of birth determined whether or not you got to keep drinking legally at 18, 19 and 20. Kavanaugh's state may have done something similar.

Who cares if he lied about whether drinking was legal at the time? Who cares if he lied about not knowing the meaning of the stuff in his yearbook? It is all pointless crap meant to embarrass and has absolutely nothing to do with being a judge. I also am consistent in not caring whatsoever whether Bill Clinton lied about sex. I don't care Mark Sanford lied about hiking on the Appalacian Trail. It is irrelevant. These are not things public needs to know or has a right to know.

A few day s later, the Democrats demand answers, clarifications, and they say that the information gathered leads to new questions and people that need to be investigated first. Also new allegations will come up that must be investigated. And on, and on, and on.

I agree, her testimony was somewhat compelling, but not nearly as compelling as Kavanaugh.. and with the full context of Trump's statements it can be easy to judge where he stands - unless all you watch is CNN, in which case you will get everything wrong.

Fake news can mean reporting part of the info without all the context.

Trump just said that about her so moderate women wouldn't get angry and vote D in the midterms.

And Kavanaugh said it was a fart. The FBI should interview him about these answers he gave that don't seem to line up with the common answers we've found on the net and news stories. I think this hurts his credibility a little despite Ford's accusations that having much evidence.
