Prominent British Scientist and Critic of the Skripal Poisoning Story Arrested

The UK government is now targeting critics of the fake chemical attack in Salisbury it has attributed to the Russians with zero evidence.
Most recent example, Dr. Chris Busby, a British retired nuclear scientist. His home in Bideford, Devon was raided after cops responding to a domestic argument reported feeling sick after visiting the residence.
Later, it was reported, these supposedly stricken officers felt fine.
Busby was arrested and detained under the explosives act.
I believe the “concern for a woman’s safety” and the reportedly sickened cops are phony as the Skripal poisoning itself. Dr. Busby was targeted for his criticism of the government response to the Skripal affair. He has also criticized the United States for using depleted uranium.
Busby was raided, arrested, and his home sealed off not because he posed a threat to a woman—or because the authorities claim there is a dangerous lab in the home—but because he has appeared on RT and elsewhere expressing a belief the Skripal affair is a false flag.

Dr. Busby also said Fukushima experienced an actual nuclear explosion and that Japan was carting debris from it all over the county to cause more cancer. He had pills for $75 which would save you. The same pills could be bought for $8 and won't do what he claims they will. Not exactly a reliable source. He predicted one million deaths there.

Post-Fukushima 'anti-radiation' pills condemned by scientists

The Green party's former science and technology spokesman is promoting anti-radiation pills to people in Japan affected by the Fukushima nuclear disaster, that leading scientists have condemned as "useless".

Dr Christopher Busby, a visiting professor at the University of Ulster, is championing a series of expensive products and services which, he claims, will protect people in Japan from the effects of radiation. Among them are mineral supplements on sale for ¥5,800 (£48) a bottle, urine tests for radioactive contaminants for ¥98,000 (£808) and food tests for ¥108,000 (£891).

The tests are provided by Busby Laboratories and promoted through a body called the Christopher Busby Foundation for the Children of Fukushima (CBFCF). Both the pills and the tests are sold through a website in California called 4u-detox.com, run by a man called James Ryan.

Though a controversial figure, Busby has been championed by the anti-nuclear movement and some environmentalists. He is still consulted by the Green party on issues such as low-level radiation and depleted uranium, but when contacted by the Guardian the party distanced itself from Busy's activities. Penny Kemp, the Green party communications director, said that the party did not condone Busby's promotion of the products.

In a video on YouTube, Busby says that the calcium and magnesium pills will be supplied "at the cost of production". But the prices being charged by 4u-detox.com are far greater than those of other mineral supplements on sale in Japan. Chemists in Tokyo sell bottles of 200 pills containing similar combinations of ingredients for ¥1,029 (£8.49). James Ryan's website also charges a minimum shipping cost of ¥2,300 (£19).
Launching the products and tests, Busby warns in his video of a public health catastrophe in Japan caused by the Fukushima explosions, and claims that radioactive caesium will destroy the heart muscles of Japanese children.

He also alleges that the Japanese government is trucking radioactive material from the Fukushima site all over Japan, in order to "increase the cancer rate in the whole of Japan so that there will be no control group" of children unaffected by the disaster, in order to help the Japanese government prevent potential lawsuits from people whose health may have been affected by the radiation. The pills, he claims, will stop radioactive contaminants attaching themselves to the DNA of Japanese children.

But Gerry Thomas, professor of molecular pathology at the department of surgery and cancer at Imperial College, London, describes his statements about heart disease caused by caesium as "ludicrous". She says that radioactive elements do not bind to DNA. "This shows how little he understands about basic radiobiology." Of the products and services being offered, she says, "none of these are useful at all. Dr Busby should be ashamed of himself."
In a video interview he also claimed that radiation is causing Downs Syndrome all across the planet and that Downs is more common among 20 year old fathers than 50 year old ones. Studies do support a link with the age of the father- but older, not younger ones, are more likely to have Downs children. https://www.webmd.com/infertility-an...own-syndrome#1

Chris Busby, a professor at the University of Ulster known for his alarmist views, generated controversy during a Japan visit last month when he said the disaster would result in more than 1 million deaths. "Fukushima is still boiling its radionuclides all over Japan," he said. "Chernobyl went up in one go. So Fukushima is worse."
His Skripal conspiracy theory is that the UK did it because Russia doesn't want to be paid in dollars for oil. In that interview, he claimed that the UK could not prove what poison it was because they didn't have any sample to compare it to yet a few moments later contradicted himself saying the US has samples and Britain had gotten one from them.

And they didn't arrest him for any of that, now they trump up charges against him over their Skripal lies.

Bideford radiation expert held over home chemicals

Two police officers "felt unwell" during a visit to Dr Chris Busby's home in Bideford, Devon, which boasts its own laboratory.

The 73-year-old said he was held for 19 hours under the Explosives Act before being released with no further action.

Devon and Cornwall Police said its inquiries were about public safety and not criminal matters.

The force said it had been called to the property to investigate concerns for a woman's welfare.

Dr Busby, who has previously advised the government on radiation risks, said neighbours had reported his 29-year-old housemate "acting strangely".

A cordon was set up around his home on Wednesday morning when the two officers complained of feeling unwell - which Dr Busby attributed to "psychological problems associated with their knowledge of the Skripal poisoning".

The scientist said he was handcuffed and interviewed all night by police who suspected he was making a bomb, but the only substances found at his home were "innocuous chemicals for research into radiation".
