Jones is a jerk. This is exactly why libertarians never get any traction. Jones put himself on display and accomplished exactly nothing.

I think he gained free publicity.

I don't get it. I don't parse it. It's an important sentence -- it's THE bad thing about Alex Jones, you say -- and I do not think I will be able to completely understand your point very well without understanding it. Could you explain what it means? Rephrase it a different way?

I certainly am not saying that Ron Paul is controlled opposition or that I am “hating everyone equally and indiscriminately and decide I am going to single handedly fight a war against the whole world”. There is obviously a communication barrier here as I said what I said above quite clearly IMO. I leave you to your opinions.
No, no, I know you're not; don't get so testy so quickly. I wasn't accusing you of thinking any of those things. I was saying, as a true and universal point, that one needs allies in politics and mind-changing. One needs a group in group endeavors. Even if you don't like some particular character on the stage, you should not necessarily attack and disavow him unless it is in your best interest to do so. I am asserting that it is not in your best interest to do so with Alex Jones. That's all.

Hey, no problem. I should have been much more clear in separating the part of my post speaking to your thoughts specifically, and the part generalizing about general points.

Never very true? It's been proven mathematically and statistically to be true. Perhaps you misunderstand its meaning. Tend to be true doesn't even mean it needs to be right the majority of the time, it just needs be right more often than any singular opposing hypothesis.

Depends on the justice system and if they take intent or lack thereof into consideration.

Alex Jones made a polished plastic fake ass politician threaten him in public.... WHILE said politician claims to not know one of the BIGGEST names in media, and sputters out sentence fragments.

From pro to a "frat boy" in 60 seconds.

What the $#@! are you guys smoking? Last time Rubio looked this 'tarded, he'd just finished Zuckerberg's Best Selling "How to Drink Water".

    They both looked bad.

    Maybe.

Even so, Alex Jones, a known goofball, came across as an asshat in public. Hardly a blow to goofballs or asshats everywhere.
Rubio, on the other hand, the future of the Republican Party and a Presidential hopeful... looked and sounded like an prepubescent manchild incapable of shutting down said "known goofball". Doesn't exactly inspire followers to follow.

So, I don't see apples to apples, my ninja. Of course, everyone has a right to be wrong...

There is some truth to what you said, AJ is a constant in the political equation by now, it would be hard for him to do much new damage to liberty through obnoxious behavior.

Should the behavior of our democrat senators in the Kavanaugh confirmation process be emulated by reporters interviewing politicians?

LOL. I love how the MSM has gotten what it deserves. It's a total circus now. If the MSM $#@!tards had been challenging the political class like they are SUPPOSSED to do, then looney clowns like Alex Jones would never have to. Can't say it doesn't put a smile on my face watching grade school immature drama unfold. Love the Frat boy bath house comment too.

That is laughable. You peg Alex Jones as "controlled opposition" in a time when everything around us is being controlled and he is trying to wake people up and free their minds from these controls.

It is good to recognize when you are not good at something. Jones is fine when he rants behind his microphone. A person with a little diplomacy could have been much more effective with Rubio. Jones should recognize this and have one of his other associates do interviews like this. Jones is better when a loudmouth provocateur is appropriate. If you owned a very big enterprise it would be wise to know the qualifications, strengths, and weaknesses of yourself and your employees. If you were about to make a huge deal and knew that you would do the enterprise a disservice to be the head of a presentation, you get the most capable person to do the presentation.
