From another thread, a response to a quip about Alex Jones and the "gay frogs meme".
I know this has been brought up before, but I think it needed re-enforcing.
I know it's a funny gag, and a meme sensation, but the fact of the matter is this: what he is ranting about is true.
Chemicals in the air, food and water are chemically castrating both animals in the wild and humans.
I certainly don't buy smoking as being a cause, smoking has been decreasing every year this has been increasing.
But artificially introduced chemicals in the air, food and water that $#@! with male sperm counts and hormones? Oh yeah, no problem seeing that as cause, especially when the proof is right there.
A further cause may be the wretched trash that western woemen have turned themselves into. This would be a possible explanation for the reason why this only seems to be affecting western nations. Without sexual partners that are feminine and arousing, but rather electric blue haired, tattooed harridans, it would not seem surprising to find sperm and hormones levels dropping, as a key component to both is regular healthy sex.
So yah, between making it not only culturally accepted, but expected and glorified as better combined with the chemical castration, there is a reason for the soyboys and buggery and f aggotism currently running amok...Jones is not far off the mark on this issue.
Pesticide atrazine can turn male frogs into females

Atrazine, one of the world’s most widely used pesticides, wreaks havoc with the sex lives of adult male frogs, emasculating three-quarters of them and turning one in 10 into females, according to a new study by University of California, Berkeley, biologists.
The 75 percent that are chemically castrated are essentially “dead” because of their inability to reproduce in the wild, reports UC Berkeley’s Tyrone B. Hayes, professor of integrative biology.
“These male frogs are missing testosterone and all the things that testosterone controls, including sperm. So their fertility is as low as 10 percent in some cases, and that is only if we isolate those animals and pair them with females,” he said. “In an environment where they are competing with unexposed animals, they have zero chance of reproducing.”
The 10 percent or more that turn from males into females – something not known to occur under natural conditions in amphibians – can successfully mate with male frogs but, because these females are genetically male, all their offspring are male.
“When we grow these guys up, depending on the family, we will get anywhere from 10 to 50 percent females,” Hayes said. “In a population, the genetically male females can decrease or wipe out a population just because they skew sex ratios so badly.”
Sperm counts in the West plunge by 60% in 40 years as ‘modern life’ damages men’s health

Sperm counts have plunged by nearly 60 per cent in just 40 years among men living in the West, according to a major review of scientific studies that suggests the modern world is causing serious damage to men’s health.
Pesticides, hormone-disrupting chemicals, diet, stress, smoking and obesity have all been “plausibly associated” with the problem, which is associated with a range of other illnesses such as testicular cancer and a generally increased mortality rate.
The researchers who carried out the review said the rate of decline had showed no sign of “levelling off” in recent years.

According to a recent report from JAMA, testosterone therapy among American men is on the rise. From 2010 to 2013, prescriptions more than doubled, which researchers partially attribute to ubiquitous drug marketing campaigns urging older men to boost “low T” levels. The swell of interest reflects a genuine physiological shift: Across the population, men today have less testosterone compared to men of the same age a generation ago. Asking why requires untangling a complex web of social, environmental, and behavioral factors that are dismantling age-old ideas about masculinity and triggering real anxiety over changing gender roles.
Studies show that men’s testosterone levels have been declining for decades. The most prominent, a 2007 study in the Journal of Clinical Endocrinology and Metabolism, revealed a “substantial” drop in U.S. men’s testosterone levels since the 1980s, with average levels declining by about 1% per year. This means, for example, that a 60-year-old man in 2004 had testosterone levels 17% lower than those of a 60-year-old in 1987. Another study of Danish men produced similar findings, with double-digit declines among men born in the 1960s compared to those born in the 1920s.
