    Exclamation Turning the frogs gay...

From another thread, a response to a quip about Alex Jones and the "gay frogs meme".

I know this has been brought up before, but I think it needed re-enforcing.

I know it's a funny gag, and a meme sensation, but the fact of the matter is this: what he is ranting about is true.

Chemicals in the air, food and water are chemically castrating both animals in the wild and humans.

I certainly don't buy smoking as being a cause, smoking has been decreasing every year this has been increasing.

But artificially introduced chemicals in the air, food and water that $#@! with male sperm counts and hormones? Oh yeah, no problem seeing that as cause, especially when the proof is right there.

A further cause may be the wretched trash that western woemen have turned themselves into. This would be a possible explanation for the reason why this only seems to be affecting western nations. Without sexual partners that are feminine and arousing, but rather electric blue haired, tattooed harridans, it would not seem surprising to find sperm and hormones levels dropping, as a key component to both is regular healthy sex.

So yah, between making it not only culturally accepted, but expected and glorified as better combined with the chemical castration, there is a reason for the soyboys and buggery and f aggotism currently running amok...Jones is not far off the mark on this issue.

Pesticide atrazine can turn male frogs into females

    http://news.berkeley.edu/2010/03/01/frogs/

By Robert Sanders, Media relations | MARCH 1, 2010

Atrazine, one of the world’s most widely used pesticides, wreaks havoc with the sex lives of adult male frogs, emasculating three-quarters of them and turning one in 10 into females, according to a new study by University of California, Berkeley, biologists.

The 75 percent that are chemically castrated are essentially “dead” because of their inability to reproduce in the wild, reports UC Berkeley’s Tyrone B. Hayes, professor of integrative biology.

“These male frogs are missing testosterone and all the things that testosterone controls, including sperm. So their fertility is as low as 10 percent in some cases, and that is only if we isolate those animals and pair them with females,” he said. “In an environment where they are competing with unexposed animals, they have zero chance of reproducing.”

The 10 percent or more that turn from males into females – something not known to occur under natural conditions in amphibians – can successfully mate with male frogs but, because these females are genetically male, all their offspring are male.

“When we grow these guys up, depending on the family, we will get anywhere from 10 to 50 percent females,” Hayes said. “In a population, the genetically male females can decrease or wipe out a population just because they skew sex ratios so badly.”

Sperm counts in the West plunge by 60% in 40 years as ‘modern life’ damages men’s health

Sperm counts have plunged by nearly 60 per cent in just 40 years among men living in the West, according to a major review of scientific studies that suggests the modern world is causing serious damage to men’s health.

Pesticides, hormone-disrupting chemicals, diet, stress, smoking and obesity have all been “plausibly associated” with the problem, which is associated with a range of other illnesses such as testicular cancer and a generally increased mortality rate.

The researchers who carried out the review said the rate of decline had showed no sign of “levelling off” in recent years.

According to a recent report from JAMA, testosterone therapy among American men is on the rise. From 2010 to 2013, prescriptions more than doubled, which researchers partially attribute to ubiquitous drug marketing campaigns urging older men to boost “low T” levels. The swell of interest reflects a genuine physiological shift: Across the population, men today have less testosterone compared to men of the same age a generation ago. Asking why requires untangling a complex web of social, environmental, and behavioral factors that are dismantling age-old ideas about masculinity and triggering real anxiety over changing gender roles.

Studies show that men’s testosterone levels have been declining for decades. The most prominent, a 2007 study in the Journal of Clinical Endocrinology and Metabolism, revealed a “substantial” drop in U.S. men’s testosterone levels since the 1980s, with average levels declining by about 1% per year. This means, for example, that a 60-year-old man in 2004 had testosterone levels 17% lower than those of a 60-year-old in 1987. Another study of Danish men produced similar findings, with double-digit declines among men born in the 1960s compared to those born in the 1920s.

This is why it doesn't make the MSM because all these companies control and manipulate the data, then discredit the scientists who stumbles upon the negative information.

How do you know if a frog is gay?

    http://news.berkeley.edu/2010/03/01/frogs/

Male frogs have two identical sex chromosomes (ZZ) while females have both a Z and a W – the opposite of XX female and XY male humans. But because all frog chromosomes look the same under a light microscope, it’s not simple to distinguish male from female.

Further down in the article it is explained how they did overcome this problem. Selective quote again?

Watch the videos above; Professor Tyrone Hayes was at Berkeley and studied the effects of Atrazine on frogs and fish.

    Weak Zip...post the whole quote:

Those early studies were hampered by the inability to easily distinguish genetically male from genetically female frogs. Male frogs have two identical sex chromosomes (ZZ) while females have both a Z and a W – the opposite of XX female and XY male humans. But because all frog chromosomes look the same under a light microscope, it’s not simple to distinguish male from female.

To overcome this, Hayes’ colleague Roger Liu developed a line of all-male frogs so that the genetics would be unequivocal.

“Before, we knew we got fewer males than we should have, and we got hermaphrodites. Now, we have clearly shown that many of these animals are sex-reversed males,” Hayes said. “We have animals that are females, in the sense that they behave like females: They have estrogen, lay eggs, they mate with other males. Atrazine has caused a hormonal imbalance that has made them develop into the wrong sex, in terms of their genetic constitution.”

Coincidentally, another lab in 2008 discovered a sex-linked genetic marker in Xenopus, which has allowed Hayes to confirm the genetic sex of his frogs.

It's not actually true though - that's the thing.

Other scientists from across the globe have been unable to replicate the results, and his peers pointed out flaws in his methodology. He then yelled racism and sent a bunch of porn to Sygenta's legal team.

Syngenta, which manufactures atrazine, disputes many of these studies, including Hayes', that show adverse effects of the pesticide. But Hayes said that "when you have studies all over the world showing problems with atrazine in every vertebrate that has been looked at -- fish, frogs, reptiles, birds, mammals -- all of them can't be wrong."

OK, I'm willing to dismiss this report if it is in fact an outlier and unable to be reproduced.

But there is something that is quantifiable, that is lowering men's sperm and testosterone levels, over the last 30 years.

And it isn't smoking, since that's all but banned now.

That link doesn't say anything about sending porn, it does say:

Hayes, who grew up in a tough South Carolina community, says he reacted to intimidation from Syngenta in a language and style he felt appropriate. "Where I came from, people did a lot more," he says.
