In 2016 the public at large was voting for POTUS Kaine or PRESIDENT Pence. Period.

Right now, we are within a year or a year and a half of Mike Pence as our president.

Even if that happened her replacement would have been worse than Trump

Not really, neither of those two is inspirational at all, voters were either for or against Trump

    Thank heaven.
They have yet to articulate out a unified strategy as to what
to do with him on the days when he is more "fundie" than
if somebody put a lot of starch in the wash that has Mitt
Romney's sincere underwear in it that he wears religiously
And cleanly. They at times do not realize how much they
need the moderate/centrist/neocons who vote BUSH to flip.

Each time Donald f#cks up a public appearance,
Ole Mike Pence goes to it and acts dignified. Just
watch what he does. He does and doesn't want
the job, but he thinks Trump is too sinful to last.
Pence forgets what Clinton's private life was like.

Nobody was for Hitlery, a few were against her without being for Trump.

Half the Democrats wanted Bernie but the rest of 'em actually did like her.
When Trump looked less bellicose and threatening, Bernie people sat out
the election too often, her numbers slip behind Obama's slightly. Curiously.

Personally, there are days when I think Trump's core cult group is bigger and more fanatical
than hers, but she too has a BIGLY cult group that is almost as politically effective as Bernie's.

I don't buy news organization polls. No, not Fox either. I'll believe this when Pew or Rasmussen back it up.

True... An outsider would think by now Elizabeth Warren would find being re-elected to be difficult.
But it's not for her. I would be more surprised at her loosing this November than I was in '16 when
msHillary lost. I live here. I want to take on ED MARKEY. The easier task. I can debate this all again.

Pew has Trump's approval rating within the Republican party falling from a high of 90% to 84% and his overall approval at 39% (June was the latest poll of theirs I could find). http://www.people-press.org/2018/06/...-donald-trump/

Once again, you’ve learned NOTHING from the 2016 election.

Don't like poll results, it must be fake.

Obviously somebody who does not understand polling. Polls are weighted. You don't get exactly the same portion of all groups participating in a poll as those found in the general population so you weight them. If 30% of the population is Republican then the Republican responders to your poll count as 30% of the final poll results. It does not matter if 25% of the participants were Republican. The poll was also only 33% Democrats.

    The "biased question":

Do you approve or disapprove of the way Donald Trump is handling his job as
president? Do you feel that way strongly or somewhat?
Other polls (besides Rasmussen which gives Trump a 48% favorable rating) have all given similar results.

Remember kiddies, polls are used to form opinion, not report it.
"Let it not be said that we did nothing."-Ron Paul

"We have set them on the hobby-horse of an idea about the absorption of individuality by the symbolic unit of COLLECTIVISM. They have never yet and they never will have the sense to reflect that this hobby-horse is a manifest violation of the most important law of nature, which has established from the very creation of the world one unit unlike another and precisely for the purpose of instituting individuality."- A Quote From Some Old Book

Aside from that scenario they would still never kill or impeach Trump without dealing with Pence first or at the same time, the plan would be to make Pelosi President after making her Speaker of the House.
