BEIRUT, LEBANON (11:30 A.M.) – The U.S. Coalition transported over 250 trucks filled with weapons to the Euphrates River Valley this morning.
250+ vehicles were not only transporting weapons, but also, military hardware for the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) in the Deir Ezzor Governorate.
This large supply transport comes shortly after the U.S. Coalition began expanding their military bases and airports across Syria.

Turkish supply trucks transporting armored cabins to several areas along the Idlib-Aleppo Highway (M-5 Highway).
The armored cabins will be placed along the highway between the provincial capitals of the Idlib and Aleppo governorates
in order to ensure the safety of this large roadway.
During the last Astana Peace Conference meeting in May, Turkey and Russia agreed to setup checkpoints along the Idlib-Aleppo Highway;
this is believed to be the first step towards restoring commerce between the two provinces.
However, the situation appears to be more complicated in the Idlib Governorate
since the Syrian Arab Army (SAA) is planning to retake the strategic city of Jisr Al-Shughour in the southwestern part of the province.
It is still not clear whether or not Turkey will continue with this project to reopen the Idlib-Aleppo Highway,
as a potential conflict is expected in the next few weeks.

Dr. Haidar is referencing jihadist groups like Hay’at Tahrir Al-Sham and the Turkestan Islamic Party (TIP); these two rebel factions have waged war against the government for years.
Recently, the jihadist rebels in the Idlib Governorate began an operation to arrest government sympathizers and people willing to reconcile with the state.
This large-scale jihadist operation has resulted in dozens of arrests across the southern countryside of Idlib.
