Rand Paul is a Russian Asset?!!?!

All over the media and in the twittersphere. It should really get interesting when he leaves for Russia with CATO. We aren't too far off from loyalty oaths at this rate. The authorities dream up a fantastical propaganda campaign and the drooling fools act on it.

I thought we were all alleged to be Russian assets.

Anyone with the balls to make that accusation outright out to face a libel suit.

    Not when it's libelous. No.

The First Amendment protects political speech. What McCain said is libelous, but McCain knows the Constitution well enough to know there's no such thing as a libelous political statement in the U.S.A.

Surely John S. McCain doesn't know the Constitution better than we do...

I'd be willing to make duels legal again and scrap all the nonsense.

Otherwise I'd just retort that McCain is a Satanist Pedo diddler. When he can get it up.

Accusations of being a spy are not political speech, espionage is a crime.

Apparently you don't know the Constitution any better than McCain.

Why is Rand going to Russia, any way? Anybody have the official statement handy?
"Let it not be said that we did nothing."-Ron Paul

"We have set them on the hobby-horse of an idea about the absorption of individuality by the symbolic unit of COLLECTIVISM. They have never yet and they never will have the sense to reflect that this hobby-horse is a manifest violation of the most important law of nature, which has established from the very creation of the world one unit unlike another and precisely for the purpose of instituting individuality."- A Quote From Some Old Book

I'm more upset that he still associates with CATO than that he is meeting with Russians.

CATO sold out to the open borders cheap labor lobby and has the Kool Aid perpetually stocked in its water coolers.

I don't mind him associating with them as long as he doesn't drink the kool aid, he needs to have all the friends he can get to support him on the issues they agree on.

At this point, I'd say he should go just to troll the media.

When you put it that way, him being a Russian asset does make a lot of sense.

I’d wager he’s trying to make a statement about diplomacy. Could also help with committee assignments.

LOL - Hillary Rodham Clinton has been the greatest asset to Putin . . .
all that easy email metadata computer code unbleached as it were compared to Hillary giving the FIB only the left over fragments for
Comey et al. to be kept busy like lackeys.

Rand has to play it right just like he did when McCain shot off his piehole on the Senate floor like the arse McCain is . . .

At which point will Americans realize that creating an unaccountable institution that is able to pass its liability on to tax-payers is immoral and attracts sociopaths?

We have left the Cold War paranoias in our rear view mirrors on most days
of the week, but this blast from the past instance of McCarthyism is ironic
in its nuances. John McCain blasted Ron Paul for being an isolationist in '08.

Don't really understand all this desire from RPF for Rand to be Trump's VP. Rhetorically you won't be hearing the libertarian slogans anymore, he has no choice but we mirror every one of Trump's moves and that will really piss off the libertarian base but behind the scenes, he will have more power to implement policies.

And I highly doubt Trumpty dumpty will fall off the wall and Rand becomes Pres.

    Now wouldn't that be fun?

Looking at it without any bias and at a high level, it's pretty clear that the US superpower days are numbered and China and Russia are taking over the driver's seat, as long planned. Visiting with the new overlords seems reasonable if WW3 is to be avoided during such a major transition. Historically, wars were the cover used to reorder the economic world and implement certain policies/objectives that weren't otherwise possible. If war is to be avoided, and I think we all want that, then what other choices are there but to make nice with the new boss?

China is a paper tiger that will collapse and Russia is too small and weak to rule the world on its own, the EU has more world dominating potential but it currently is too weak, corrupt and divided, the short term future is multi-polar, however avoiding war is important one way or another.

You go ahead and keep on posting that, while China has taken over setting the international price of gold.
