President Donald Trump will meet with members of Congress on Tuesday, the White House said, after many lawmakers criticized his performance at a summit on Monday with Russian President Vladimir Putin. The White House did not say who would attend the meeting or its subject. It is the only event on Trump's schedule for Tuesday.

In his first public statement since his WTF presser following his summit with Russian ruler/former KGB officer Vladimir Putin, President Donald Trump tweeted that he has “GREAT confidence in MY intelligence people” – not clear why he all-capped “my” – but added that we cannot focus “on the past.”

I can guess why "MY" was emphasized with one letter: Q

This isn't really surprising. Just a reminder that there never was an anti-war left. They were just anti-Bush. Also appears to be a reminder that a lot of libertarians were really not anti-war.

Even the once skeptical RPI was impressed. Good.

Once again, Ron Paul is the quiet, sane, voice of reason in the din of caterwauling claptrap that boils up from the DC swamp every day.

Best interview of the night. Listen carefully. I apologize for poor audio.

WHY DO THEY HATE A POST-COMMUNIST LEADER (PUTIN) MORE THAN SOVIET LEADERS OF THE PAST?

Answer: BECAUSE THEY ARE $#@!ING COMMUNISTS AT HEART!!!

Most communists are wannabe tyrants that use the communism lie to consolidate and gain power.

The deep state is getting more and more deranged and desperate. They are a rabid animal up with their back against the wall. Trump has the order ready to declassify the truth that will reveal their true evil to the public. The sheeple will be shocked into reality. Huber is leading the prosecution of the deep state. Their days are numbered. This is a great time to be an American.

4 - Trump does his own thing. Consequences be damned. It's 2024 before anyone else gets a shot at the oval office.

I'm not as optimistic, but they are definitely showing their cards for the world to see.

    Reagan's "Evil Empire" speech

Recall, if you are old enough, how unhinged the Bolsheviks became over that???

For essentially the same reason: in that case, calling out the communist left for who they were.

And in this case for dealing with Russia for what they are now.

I partially agree with this analysis. A large majority of Congress is opposed to his new stance with Putin. Trump's hands are tied by these bastards, but if he wins in 2020. Look out. We could see our JFK moment, in terms of executive rebellion.

The Swamp is trying to keep him in line.

But the US president has found precious little support for his failure to confront Putin, and faced calls even from allies to change tack.

"He has to reverse course immediately and he's gotta get out there as soon as possible before the concrete starts to set on this," former White House communications director Anthony Scaramucci said on CNN.

"Loyalty right now requires you to tell the truth and sit with him and explain to him the optics of the situation, why the optics are bad, the strategy in terms of trying to get along with Vladimir Putin and deploying a strategy of going against the intelligence agency is very bad," Scaramucci said.
