Utah went for it and failed on fourth down twice in the fourth , had they taken the FG's they could have cut it to a one possession game with 6:00 to go . So ....... with 1.30 to go they would have been on the washington 22 yard line looking to tie . Sometimes you have to take the points .

Crazy ending in the Aztecs/ ASU game. Aztecs get a touchdown and go for two point conversion to go up 28- 14 with just over four minutes left. ASU scoreless in the half. ASU marches down the field gets a TD- down by seven. Aztecs can probably run out the clock- only 1:40 remain. Couple plays and they get a long run down to the ASU 23 yardline where they fumble. ASU recovers with about 45 seconds. Two quick plays and they are up to midfield where they stall. Fourth and ten. Fourteen seconds left. Incomplete pass. Game over? No. 15 yard penalty on San Diego puts the ball on their 35 yardline. Six seconds. But that was where it did end. Another incomplete. So close!

While trailing 56-3, the Cornhuskers had lost more yards due to penalties (66) than they had gained on offense (61) early in the fourth quarter.

#13 Virginia Tech upset by Old Dominion (29 point underdogs) 49- 35- scoring 28 in the fourth quarter using their back-up QB after their first possession.
Unranked Texas knocks off #17 TCU.
#23 BC loses to unranked Purdue 30- 13.

They seemed to move the ball pretty good vs the Alabama defense- but then they had to settle for field goals while giving up touchdowns at the other end.

#5 Oklahoma and Army tied going into the 4th quarter. OU has only had the ball 8:38.
OU runs it right down the field but fails with three tries from the one yardline. Army takes over on down.
Army scoring drive times: 9:31, 8:54, and the latest, 10:47. Doing it all on the ground- only six passes and three completed. 66 rushing plays for almost 300 yards at this point. Just grinding it out- few if any long gains by Army. OU defense must be getting tired. They have been out there three quarters of the game.
Army got within field goal range with about two minutes left but turned the ball over (interception on only their 7th pass attempt of the game). Could have taken the lead. Instead, OU moves down the field. Sixteen yard line- two seconds left. Missed field goal! Overtime.
OU touchdown their first possession. Army has to match it or game over.

Other possible upsets. Texas Tech doubling up #15 Oklahoma State in the fourth and #14 Mississippi State was just upset by Kentucky 28-7.
#18 Wisconsin and Iowa tied at 7 at the half.

Stanford trying to make a come-back vs Oregon. Trail 21-24 in the fourth and have the ball back again inside Oregon territory. Trailed 24-7 at the half.
Stopped at 4th and one at the 30. Field goal could have tied it. Eleven minutes remain.
Traded scores. Oregon up three with just over three minutes left. Oregon can try to run out the clock.
Fumble! Stanford ball at their own 40 with just 45 seconds left. Down to the 19 yard line. Five seconds left. Three points to tie. Penalty on Oregon. Still five seconds left. Ball on the 14.

Stanford scored TD on their first OT possession. Oregon had to score now. Duck's QB Justin Herbert had only two incomplete passes in regulation going 25-27 with no interceptions and over 300 yards and one TD. In overtime, four of five incomplete passes (final one intercepted) and they failed to score. Stanford pulled it out 38- 31.
