Interesting looks like a whale shark swallowed him.
The largest confirmed whale shark had a length of 12.65 m (41.5 ft) and a weight of about 21.5 t (47,000 lb), when the bible simple says a big fish swallowed him, that is certainly a big one.

The story of Jonah is one of the great prophetic events written in the Old Testament regarding the saving work of Christ through His death and resurrection. Just as Jonah was three days in the belly of the fish, so was Christ ‘swallowed’ by death in the grave and descent into Hades. The early Christians in particular highly regarded this foreshadowing event in their hymnology and apologetics. Early iconography depicting Jonah and the fish has been discovered in ancient Christian burial tombs and other places of worship.
