Pretty sad because I remember he was a RP guy that often worked with Tom Davis, what a small margin to potentially lose by knowing that if only we knew this was happening, we could've kicked in some money, help promote or call.

@Ehanced_Deficit's real agenda on RPF =troll:

7 yrs/25k posts later RPF'ers still respond to this troll

I actually did donate. But this place isn't about activism now. It's about Trump.

Hmmm. It seems that Timmons was endorsed by Marco Rubio, and spent more money than anybody else. There is an infamous lobbyist and establishment operative by the same name, could it be a father or grandfather? Either way, the name recognition may have helped too.

    Probably neoconned again.

There have been many close races that have been ignored by the liberty movement (that doesn't really exist anymore). Lee Bright, Raul Labrador for Idaho Governor, Nick Freitas for US Senate in VA. These are strong liberty candidates that are losing by small margins with no help outside of their local grassroots.

At least socialists are winning in New York

I knew, but I sure wouldn't look here to find help for a candidate. I'd get three saboteurs for every person who would genuinely assist.

Activism schmactivism. Who needs any kind of activism, political or otherwise, when we've got Trump? He's a one-man wrecking ball against the deep state. Ron Paul On Steroids! All we need to do is follow his gleaming orangeness into the glorious future he has planned for the fatherl, er I mean homeland. He's a modern day messiah. Just ask all the people around here who don't seem to have anything else to do all day every day but hang out and tell us, ad nauseam, how great Trump is.

"Government ... does not exist of necessity, but rather by virtue of a tragic, almost comical combination of klutzy, opportunistic terrorism against sitting ducks whom it pretends to shelter, plus our childish phobia of responsibility, praying to be exempted from the hard reality of life on life's terms." Wolf DeVoon

Laura Ekbe. She's a sitting state Senator, she left the GOP for the LP, and should be the darling of the party during her re-election bid. In the LP she does get some attention, but here? Nothing.

On a side note, it's interesting to watch her - she has the approval of both Adam Kokesh and Bill Weld, who pretty represent the opposite ends of the party spectrum.
