Sarah Sanders Booted From 'Red Hen' - What To Do About This Discrimination?

Do we need the government to intervene in the case of a Virginia restaurant owner who kicked out Trump Spokesperson Sarah Huckabee Sanders because she did not like her politics? Ron Paul explains how understanding property rights helps solve such seemingly complicated problems.

"Beware the Military-Industrial-Financial-Corporate-Media-Government Complex." - B4L update of General Dwight D. Eisenhower
"Debt is the drug, Wall St. Banksters are the dealers, and politicians are the addicts." - B4L

If you don't like it, don't frequent the establishment. If you like it, make reservations every evening into 2045.

If you don't care, don't do anything.
Through lives and lives shalt thou pay, O' king.

    Pray for reset.

Get 1000 Trump supporters in MAGA hats to enter when they re-open and scream "Shame, shame, shame." Totally disrupt their business. Shut them down!

Alternately, make 1000 reservations a night and then don't show up. Shut them down!

Release 1000 rats in their establishment. Shut them down!

Release 1000k cockroaches in their establishment. Shut them down!

That should be fun to see how it plays out.

Theye have refused their Assent to Laws, the most wholesome and necessary for the public good.

Theye have erected a multitude of New Offices, and sent hither swarms of Officers to harass our people and eat out their substance.

Theye kept among us, in times of peace, Standing Armies

Theye have combined with others to subject us to a jurisdiction foreign to our constitution,

For protecting them, by a mock Trial from punishment for any Murders which they should commit on the Inhabitants of these States:

For cutting off our Trade with parts of the world:

For imposing Taxes on us without our Consent:

For depriving us in many cases, of the benefit of Trial by Jury:

Theye plundered and destroyed the lives of our people.

Theye are at this time transporting Armies of Mercenaries to compleat the works of death, desolation, and tyranny, already begun with circumstances of Cruelty & Perfidy scarcely paralleled in the most barbarous ages, and totally unworthy of a civilized nation.

LEXINGTON, Va. (WDBJ7) -- Stephanie Wilkinson has chosen to resign as executive director of Main Street Lexington.
Wilkinson is the co-owner of The Red Hen restaurant in Lexington and is the person who asked White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders to leave the restaurant due to her political affiliation.
Elizabeth Outland Branner, Board President of Main Street Lexington, says she accepted the resignation of Wilkinson as the executive director of Main Street Lexington.
"Considering the events of the past weekend, Stephanie felt it best, that for the continued success of Main Street Lexington, she should step aside," Branner states.

Lately some of my old opinions are changing I disagree with Ron Paul who said the owner has the right to kick out a group at their place of business, simply for their political affiliation. Sometimes common decency needs a law, and is higher than that libertarian utopia we all think should be.

That is going to hit the supreme court one day too, I think since they are protecting every other right under the sun, this one needs to be included as well.
And they will win it too.
Can we even imagine a white owner of a tire shop refusing a black man a tire repair in the middle nowhere, where no other choices exist for 100 miles.
Now imagine this done to a Trump supporter by tire shop owner who is alt-left leaning in his political ideology....yeah no, libertarian ideology works until you hit stuff like this.

That can be debated for emergency cases and life or death necessities but if you do go with such a law it has to be state or local.

Respecting other people's wishes on their own property IS common decency.

I can imagine all sorts of scenarios but that doesn't mean any of them will ever actually happen and because something might happen doesn't give you have the right to tell me how to run my business.

Both should have shown more respect and treated their customers better.

One side goes to the government to make the business do what they want, the other doesn't.

Both should weigh the reason for their actions carefully and then do as their conscience demands and be ready to deal with market reactions.

No, "common decency" does not need to be legislated by the Federal government. Far from it. That is the road to totalitarian tyranny.

The people that don't have the right to refuse to serve are called slaves.

Prescient point. The cake bakers decision destroyed business, and families, through government intervention.
