Foot power isn't enough, we need to move these goalposts further, faster!

PS: His account still isn't being regulated. No matter how many times you say that it is, it will not make it true. The thing being regulated is the conduct of government employees.

His personal behavior on a private account on a private service is being regulated without any legal basis, the 1stA basis being used would also demand the private service be regulated since his private behavior on it is merely a subset of it.

There are many different kinds of assistants, and yet they are all assistants to a person.

Do you suppose that the assistant secretaries of defense mow the secretary of defense's lawn and iron his suits?

PS: Do you remember all the way 2 pages ago when you were trying to claim that nobody was paid to post on his account? What happened to that argument? Memory hole?

They are "assistant secretaries of defense" not "assistants to the secretary of defense".

Nope. That's like saying that, in order to prevent violations of the Hatch Act, every possible mode of communications which could be used by a government employee to transmit a personal message should be regulated.

The service is not being regulated. The behavior of a government employee is being regulated.

It was not a false statement, those things that the government can restrict about government workers don't have anything to do with their rights in their private activities.

SCOTUS may yet overrule the renegade judge who made the erroneous decision but if it doesn't that won't change the fact that he was wrong.

No, the ruling was predicated on the 1stA not on some law controlling government employees, furthermore it claimed to control his private activities on a private platform.

And the behavior of the owners of the platform would also be covered by the theory used to regulate Trump's private behavior on his private account on a private service.

Amid claims from Donald Trump that social media giants are unfairly suppressing conservative views, his 2020 campaign manager has threatened the president may quit Twitter for a conservative platform

“If @realDonaldTrump leaves @Twitter for another platform Twitter is done. Put a fork in it,” wrote Brad Parscale, who was Mr Trump’s digital media director for the 2016 presidential campaign and now serves as manager for his reelection campaign.
The comment came after Mr Trump’s eldest son, Donald Trump Jr, joined his father in claiming there was anti-conservative bias on social media platforms, such as Twitter and Facebook. Senior officials from Twitter, Facebook and Google are expected to provide testimony next week on Capitol Hill.
Yeah. Maybe. But if @Twitter for another platform Twitter is done. Put a fork in it. 🍴 https://t.co/u8QA3OKREA

    — Brad Parscale (@parscale) August 31, 2018
Mr Trump Jr told Axios there was “exactly zero doubt in my mind” that tech bias is real. “I don't think [this issue] is going away, because I don't think it's changing,” he said
He said the companies needed to better self regulate as “many of these platforms get many benefits from the government”. He said if a Trump supporter in the tech world created a conservative, Facebook-like social network, he would urge his father’s supporters to switch to it.

Trump's actions here might be what you call "poking the bear."

Facebook and twitter and so forth are infinitely more popular than that retard who says he's the President, ...what's his name?

Anyway, social media is an abomination, but they provide some sort of low-grade entertainment to the people.

Reality is going to kick your sorry asses again in a couple months, and in 2020, and in 2022.
You guys are losing, as always, and the reason you are losing is because you guys are the mouthpieces, and you suck at politics, horribly.
Can't predict anything, don't know anything, and have a simplistic view of both national and international populace.

You've been outplayed, outwitted, and most entertainingly, made yourselves look like fools over and over again with your predictions. Your words and insults aren't just worthless... ...they actually help the cause of the enemies you believe you are fighting.

Keep up the stupidity. That's why I always said I wanted Zippy to stay here. No need to ban the shill. Let the shills shrill. Can't hear their own nails on the chalkboards.

You make a good point, I am not sure whether or not people will stop using social media just because Trump says it's fake news, assuming that you are right and assuming that Trump can't convince people to stop using social media then that doesn't always mean the opposite isn't true either. Trump may be able to motivate people to use social media more, sort of a reverse psychology. That begs the question is it beneficial for POTUS to motivate people to use social media, more?
