Dog pays for food with leaves

Dog pays for food with leaves. Alternate title, Humans accept leaves as currency.

Meet Negro, a clever dog who lives at the Diversified Technical Education Institute of Monterrey Casanare in Colombia

The dog was adopted by the school staff and freely roams around the school’s yard

Negro managed to secure himself a seemingly endless supply of treats, by paying for them with leaves

After seeing students giving something in exchange for cookies, he came up to the school’s store with a leaf in his mouth

The canine offered ‘take it or leaf it’ deal for the store’s attendant

Astonished by the dog’s intelligence, she couldn’t help but ‘sell’ Negro a cookie

Since his fortune literally grows on trees, the store’s staff decided to allow Negro to buy treats only couple times a day
