Democratic Party could be ‘too liberal’ for voters, poll finds

It’s just one poll, but it illustrates a dynamic which will become more intense as election day approaches, and Democratic strategists seek an effective public message. Is the Democratic Party just too liberal for the average voter? An Economist/YouGov poll finds that almost half of registered U.S. voters — 48 percent — say the party is “too liberal.” Even 13 percent of liberals agree. Few felt the party was not liberal enough.

GOP results too embarassing to even mention - NYC progressive globalist neocons

The results for the Republican wing of the party must be horrible, there's zero data and no link to the poll.

No surprise, the D&R party is despised by most Americans.

Yes. No one ever publicly refutes that. They stole that name from Classical liberals. If it quacks, its a duck. If it wants to control every aspect of an individual's being, its a socialist.

Liberalism is no longer what it literally means but rather what the news media tells people it means. Same can be said for "Conservative".

On the other side (not reported in the piece), 36% felt Republicans were too conservative including twelve percent of Republicans.

18% said that Republicans were "about right" and 20% said not conservative enough. 27% were "not sure".

Good point. It seems we are stuck between a rock and a hard place. Next time could you post the data, pls? The previous person employed in your position would always do that.

Yep. Liberal used to be a wonderful word, as did conservative.

Now there's no real difference- just a lot of screaming on both sides so they look like they're different to the dumbed down voters.
