For the purpose of this poll, we'll assume that Trump is the GOP nominee.

As for the Democrats, your guess is as good as mine.

But suppose for the purpose of the poll that it's a "normal" Democrat (e.g. someone like Biden, contra a flesh-eating reanimation of Stalin).

I would need to know who the 3rd party option was.

Not falling for the D&R fake party, aka NWO. Second party, or not voting at all.

For the Libertarian Party, the nominee is a doofus who plays the pothead on TV to win the pothead vote, but is a genuinely libertarian(ish) person.

For the Constitution Party, ...what's the Constitution Party?

I'll be voting Libertarian Party in these circumstances, for the record.

...being a protest vote, the identity of the nominee is not particularly important.

I can tell you who I will not vote for . Not the dem nominee . Not the Libertarian nominee if it is anything like the last one . In a primary ( we have closed primaries and I am not regstd as dem ) I would vote for someone other than trump . In the general I would likely just write myself in .

  14. #12
I'll either not vote or write in Ron Paul.

LP or CP unless something big changes between now and then.

Chuck Baldwin is a good example of the CP.

    Vermin Supreme.

Too early for me, you never know, someone worth voting for may gain some traction. If not, no vote.

I am not in a swing state. I will thus vote, strategically, third party almost no matter what, for someone outside the duopoly that has the best chance of upsetting order. This will probably be LP, which is how I voted last time. I'm even open to spoiling some Democrat fun by voting for some hard-left party if the LP or CP have a considerably weaker presence. The key, I think, is laying the seeds for a third party that will be a thorn in the establishment's side, by inching closer to, if not getting over that 5% threshold and spoiling the narrative that one of two $#@! parties has to win.

I will show up at the Republican primaries to vote against Trump, if I see any smidgen of value in it at all. I will not vote for ardent neocons like Haley, Rubio, or Kasich though. No way. Someone like Bob Corker would be my limit (at least Rand had some positive things to say about him).
The enemy of my enemy may be worse than my enemy.

I do not suffer from Trump Rearrangement Syndrome. Sorry if that triggers you.

    I voted!
It's all about taking action and not being lazy. So you do the work, whether it's fitness or whatever. It's about getting up, motivating yourself and just doing it.

The important thing is that you vote -- thank you.

I stopped voting after I saw first hand the corruption of the 2012 presidential election (I did write-in Ron Paul).

I’m privy to the duopoly, and I have waken to understand that only I represent myself.

Though, I do like Vermin. Maybe Rand if my arm was twisted. But then I don’t sit well with government as they all infringe.

as long as it isn't Bob Barr or similar, i'll be voting libertarian and be proud* of my vote.

I'm not sure there will be an election.
    given the rate of decay.

Like watching the Chinese Space station.. it's going down,, but nobody knows when.
Liberty is lost through complacency and a subservient mindset. When we accept or even welcome automobile checkpoints, random searches, mandatory identification cards, and paramilitary police in our streets, we have lost a vital part of our American heritage. America was born of protest, revolution, and mistrust of government. Subservient societies neither maintain nor deserve freedom for long.

I guess FireStarter is banned, I don't see 300 post about him not voting.

I'll be voting LP unless Rand Paul gets the GOP nomination. I think the LP vote is still important to try to break into the presidential debates. Only having two parties in the debates creates the illusion that people don't have a choice.

The idea of voting for Trump to keep the democrats from office kind of went out the window with; Grab the guns first; I'll sign a $1.3 trillion omnibus but blame the democrats; and John Bolton.
