Thread: Judge Swamp: McCabe firing could be seen as obstruction of justice

  1. #31

Judge Napolitano is a great guy.

There are now two reason I can think of that he would be doing this, and neither have anything to do with being controlled opposition.

    1. He is trying to warn Trump and those around him regarding what their next move might be.

    2. He is trying to appear politically neutral so when Trump nominates him as Supreme Court Justice he will have a better shot of getting confirmation from congress.

"Each of us must choose which course of action we should take: education, conventional political action, or even peaceful civil disobedience to bring about necessary changes. But let it not be said that we did nothing." - Ron Paul

"Paul said "the wave of the future" is a coalition of anti-authoritarian progressive Democrats and libertarian Republicans in Congress opposed to domestic surveillance, opposed to starting new wars and in favor of ending the so-called War on Drugs."

There is no way his comments can be taken that way, he is promoting the idea that Trump did something wrong and should be charged and removed.

Rand attacks Trump for the things he should be criticized for, if Judge Swamp was doing #2 he would sound like Rand instead of Brennan, Comey, Hitlery & Co.

Also, in addition to that second point - you might recall that there was a lot of chatter a while back that Judge Napolitano got pulled off Fox after making the comment that Obama was wiretapping Trump during his campaign. This was before there was proof of such allegations.

I really think Napolitano is just trying to paint himself as more neutral of the President.

Maybe that was just an act he and FOX put on to burnish his credentials, either that or he sold out to get his job back.

Ya I know, you said the same thing about Trump "promoting" gun control. Pretty sure everything that has happened so far with regards to gun control would have happened without Trump's "approval", and I'm also pretty sure that we will not be seeing much if any gun control legislation pass and remain standing after appeals in court.

I think the Judge is using this as a secret communicative way to talk to Trump and warn him of things without actually making an official phone call.. and also appear more neutral.

There was media speculation earlier that such charges will come up after Mueller interviews "free thinking" Trump but looks like they are pushing one out of the two items even before the interview.

This is sort of following Clinton investigation trajectory, investigations started over ABC but final charges were about XYZ.

(Same might be said about the Watergate Committee Hearings. Results can vary. This could go either way for DJT)
