Thread: Even by mushy headed liberal metrics, NH ranks 5th best state in the nation.

Exclamation Even by mushy headed liberal metrics, NH ranks 5th best state in the nation.

Even using Useless News' mushy headed social justice metrics, such as: "What percentage of adults went to a dentist last year" and "Equality in Jailing", NH manages to come in at Number 5.

Of course, we maintain the number one position in real quality of life metrics: freedom, liberty, economic opportunity and least amount of government.

    And here.

    And here.

    About New Hampshire

    https://www.usnews.com/news/best-states/new-hampshire

New Hampshire may be one of the smallest states, but it traditionally has played an outsize role in the nation’s greatest task: Election of the president.

In a state known for a fiercely independent streak, the official motto emblazoned on vehicle license plates, “Live Free or Die,” comes from a toast which General John Stark made in 1807 for fellow volunteer veterans of the Revolutionary War.

In modern times, The Granite State has jealously guarded its position as first in line for the quadrennial presidential primary elections. Political careers have been made, salvaged and busted in this first-in-the-nation primary, though its actual impact often is overshadowed by its legendary power: Since 2000, most of the New Hampshire primary winners have failed to win the White House.
Another mark of a tyrant is that he likes foreigners better than citizens, and lives with them and invites them to his table; for the one are enemies, but the Others enter into no rivalry with him. - Aristotle's Politics Book 5 Part 11

    Why are you advertising?

Can't you smell all those Garden Staters looking for a place to escape to?

    Shhhhh....

Look at Oklahoma. Or better yet, don't look at Oklahoma. All you'll see is jackbooted thugs persecuting homeschoolers and mass shootings left and right. It sucks. Trust me on this, you disaffected Californians...

Hey now, AF is an ex Garden Stater....

I tried suggesting NH, the other half was having none of it. Its either here or somewhere a bit warmer. I tend to agree.

Oh. Well, you can look at Oklahoma. But keep it under your hat...

Grew up around those ways, nothing in OK, but truck stops and indian reservations. Used to be one of the top exporters of Maryjane before it went getting legalized around the country. I need an ocean nearby.

No oceans. More lakes than you can spit in during one lifetime, but no oceans.

We have more than truck stops. Lots of Indian casinos went up since you were here last.

As for what other interesting things one might find around here if one actually looks, I'm going to follow my own advice. Some Californians might be listening...

Damn it, in my gloating, I tend to forget sometimes, even if the vast bulk of Garbage Staters are heading to North Carolina and not New Hampshire.

You're right: hey, listen up everybody: New Hampshire is awful, clanking frigid winters, with gales straight from the arctic, feet and feet of snow, bears and ticks and hillbillies.

You do not want to move here.
