USDA wants ideas to get people off SNAP

Got ideas for getting getting able-bodied people back to work and off of food stamps?
The U.S. Department of Agriculture wants to know.
The agency is soliciting ideas from the public that promote "work and self-sufficiency among able-bodied adults participating in the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) and related services."
The public will be able to provide input beginning Friday on the Federal Register's web site. The comment period will be open through April 9.

I was gonna say basically the same thing, but, yes, exactly.

I think a bit more needs to be said however. If they did stop, we would be stuck exactly where we are right now, and that is not a good place to be. If anything, the people need the purchasing power / value of the currency to be restored. That is the ONLY way to truly get people off Food Stamps. Since the solution is economic, Zippy ought be along shortly to tell people how strong the purchasing power of the fiat dollar is by throwing up some govt definitions or charts and claiming that people are not going in debt just to maintain their lifestyle, which is hardly beyond their means.

Perhaps another way to phrase this is "dont make the common man go into debt just to eat".
