Psychology Of Education - Hypnosis

Not everyone enjoys watching TV. One of the reasons for this is the State of Mind while observing any sort of Visual and Audio Fiction. That state of mind is called Suspension of Disbelief. Suspension of Disbelief is a state of Hypnosis, where a person accepts information as being real without question, at least for the purpose of a TV show or movie or video. The individual is still fully conscious and aware of their actions and thoughts, but is currently accepting certain information as truth.

I think there may be a similarity between what happens in Public Schools and watching TV. Children are especially susceptible to the Suspension of Disbelief. The state of mind basically has the effect of the mind accepting anything it sees or hears as the truth. This is exactly what is expected of students is to be in a constant state of Suspension of Disbelief. Students are taught, and the idea is reinforced, that the ONLY truth is the truth that comes from Authority, which includes teachers, police, and other "officials". When children are taught to accept what a teacher says as the only truth, it teaches something else. Any opposing point of view is a LIE.

The most important part of Public Education is to shut down the Logic part of education. This comes in the way of Testing. You can experience the effects of Testing on your own mind right now with a short example, then I will explain what happens.

TEST: You have THIRTY SECONDS come up with FIFTY words that do NOT have the letter "A" in them. Start Now. You may time yourself.

If you are skipping ahead, I strongly encourage you to spend the whole 30 seconds and try this yourself.

If you actually try to do this, your brain will be overwhelmed and your subconscious will want to do everything it can for the test to be over. This teaches children to avoid learning in general as the subconscious is highly uncomfortable with regards to this state of mind. Now, lets teach you how to win at this Test every single time. There is a very easy way to Pass This Test. But what needs to be understood is a Pattern. The letter "A" does not appear in spelled out numbers until the word "thousand". Thus, counting one two three four and up to fifty will allow you to get to fifty within the thirty second time limit.

This is HOW Logic, the most important part of Learning, is constantly reinforced to be shut down and WHY there is such a push for "more testing". Testing does have its uses and importance, but when Testing itself becomes the lesson, you end up with what we have today.

Now, what happens in the mind. The important part here is the Time Limit on the Test I gave you above. That arbitrary Time Limit increases stress hormones and the mind enters a frantic state of panic and mistakes are made because time being a limited resource is spent first coming up with a random word, which happens in one part of the brain, then the criteria of not having the letter "A" is applied to the word, which is done in another part of the brain. This causes neural interference and an overload of crosstalk which overloads the mind and causes the person taking the test to feel uncomfortable. This is the Application of Logic. The arbitrary Time Limit causes a subconscious negative association between Application of Logic to be made, thus it is avoided. By teaching you the "trick" to count to fifty, you use Muscle Memory, which really has nothing to do with your muscles. It is handled by another part of the brain (all psychology is biology) that is unfiltered and can be done extremely quickly but is not checked for errors since it is known to work. Since the use of Muscle Memory to count to fifty does not apply Logic and is taught "this is the correct solution" to the problem in the Test, it quickly becomes Muscle Memory to NOT apply Logic to learning.

Accept what you are told as the truth because thinking about problems and applying logic should be associated with an uncomfortable feeling. It is this associative type of memory that causes Education (not Learning) to have Pavlovian responses. Briefly, Pavlov taught a dog to drool by teaching it that the sound of the dinner bell is associated with food. When the food is removed and the dog heard the dinner bell, the dog started to drool because of the associative memory that is taught. The same thing applies two fold in Education. First, a negative association with the application of Logic is formed by putting an arbitrary Time Limit on any sort of Tests given where actual Logic is expected. Next, a positive association is formed by rewarding students when students apply Muscle Memory to pass the test, where logic is not applied.

If you are interested, the difference between Logic and Muscle Memory can be better understood if you look up "System 1 vs System 2" under psychology.

Basically, System 1 is your Muscle Memory. Its very fast, does not do any error checking, but can hold large volumes of information, allowing for "multitasking". Cell Phones play a huge role in reinforcing the use of System 1 for both adults and children, which causes an over reliance on System 1.

System 2 is very slow and error checks everything. It is the default way we learn, and where Logic is applied. If any given information passes the series of tests applied by System 2 and it is repeated constantly, it then becomes a Pavlovian Response and when that information is recognized as having already been processed by System 2, it is quickly handed off to System 1 for a regurgatory response which applies zero logic. This is also why so much time is spent going over the same information over and over again, it is a reinforcement of using System 1, Muscle Memory, to provide responses and why Testing is used to teach to NOT apply Logic at all, thus, the inescapable conclusion of school is that school itself is the lesson, and not the information being presented.

When this is coupled with the Suspension of Disbelief as a Hypnotic State, education itself teaches people to only seek to retain information that is presented to them by figures of authority of any kind and to not seek to learn more. Thus, you end up with large groups of people who are smart enough to push buttons but not smart enough to ask if this button is the best tool for the job. These people do not challenge authority or themselves to become more than they are and you end up with a nation of Sheeple, or mindless drones who are completely dependent on authority to provide everything in their lives.

Joe Joseph with The Daily Sheeple breaks down the likely reasons the elitists might want an ignorant populace, and it’s actually obvious. “It’s coming to a head now more than ever, especially with the heightened costs of tuitions for alternatives to the indoctrination centers,” says Joseph.



“The public school systems have now become a ‘teach the test’ type of place, simply becasue their funding is tied to the success of these standardized tests. Teachers aren’t really allowed to come up with their own curriculum,” says Joseph accuratly. Public education has become a disaster and not many children are even mature enough anymore, to handle life after college when they become an adult.

“This is all done by design,” Joseph says. “‘Group think’ is extremely pervasive in public schools. So if you do go down this road [of logic] you’re gonna be an outcast…now more than ever [logic] is void. Absolutley void.”
