I'm afraid you have misunderstood something here. The quote read:

But I refuse to concede that we have a tax problem — we have a spending problem, and I will continue to fight to fix it.
I believe I properly interpreted that statement, and I wholly disagree with it. We have a HUGE tax problem. The fact that we tax is a problem. Beyond that, it is only a question of to what degree. I don't accept any degree. How you come to conclude that I feel we don't tax enough escapes me completely. But let me reiterate, lest we go around this carousel yet again: taxation is robbery, and therefore criminal in sé. Therefore, no level of taxation is morally supportable.

    Claro?

That said, I am wiling to accept the "right's" version of slavery as a temporary measure and stepping stone toward bigger and better things. I would never accept it as a man's proper and rightful lot.

When somebody self-identifying as Republican, Conservative or Right Wing dishes out small government rhetoric, it's a prelude to an explosion of government "that would make Obama cringe." Every. Single. Time.
No no no, Obama would be stropping so furiously with delight, he would likely explode like a very low-yield nuke from over-exertion. That delicate boy love this sort of thing.

That may be what he meant, but it is not quite clearly so. The quote reads:

I’ve voted against spending more, and I’ve proposed specific ways to cut spending and balance our budget. But I refuse to concede that we have a tax problem — we have a spending problem, and I will continue to fight to fix it.

As I reexamine the article, it becomes clear that I probably misinterpreted the statement. I own up to my errors. By the same token, Rand Paul should be more careful with his words because the structure of the statement is far less than ideal. His words are poorly chosen. He would have done far better to have said something like:

The problem of our deficits lies not in an insufficiency of taxation, but an over abundance of spending.
So yes, I could have taken greater care in how I read, and he could have taken FAR greater care in how he spoke/wrote.

No. Clearly you don't pay attention to me unless I engage in polysyllabic elocution. Therefore, I will endeavor to use as large a quantity of decadent deca-dollar vocabulary as I can manage.

I created a subset which included your obedient servant and yourself, and I created a second and separate subset of dwellers under structural spans. Now, the dwellers under overpasses were clearly of the second grouping, and not of the first conglomeration I defined. Present company inhabited that first community, and we were held specifically exclusive of those other beings of indeterminate ancestry.

Please review and see if my logic has not escaped me.

I can't see how any country can live without having debt, it is just part of running a country. Life would be a lot worse off with a balanced budget. You go can complain about waste, this and that. Perhaps mismanagement. But a country costs a lot. I doubt charity, and billionaires could pay to run society.

What does a country costing a lot have to do with debt? The United States has higher debt levels than the Scandavian countries now. You can have high debt and small government and a balanced budget and big government.

Speaking of welfare spending, why does Britain hate poor people so much?

America isn't Norway or the UK.

America doesn't have a welfare state, may be food stamps, but nothing like in western Europe, but the UK in particular, or the Irish state, they have a similar welfare system to the UK.

America is in debt for numerous reasons, it isn't all benefiting the billionaires is it? Jackson nearly centuries ago is credited with having a debt free year in American history, but that was then.

My chart of spending from the OECD shows otherwise. The United States spends roughly the same per person as the UK.

That should encourage you. With enough persistence and dedication, you can live off the US government. It won't be easy. Aim high. There is a government check waiting for you here.

Once upon a time governments actually saved money in the public treasury to use if their revenues didn't cover their outlays one year.

Sure. Eliminating debt would be something a government does if it's serving the people. Forcing the people to pay big bankers interest is something a government does if it serves the big banks.

And, of course, governments never fail to serve the big banks. So, yeah, a country perking along without wasting the sweat and labor of its citizens on interest payments does boggle the imagination, doesn't it?

Borrowing contributes to debt. Borrowing. Nothing else. If only you didn't have an education, you'd understand the definition of 'debt' well enough to know that.

And Ron Paul remembers a time in this country when everyone in this country felt nobody has a right to an education, but anyone could afford an education. It's when somebody hollers that everyone has a right to something that the price goes through the roof.

With elections upcoming, the citizen must have been rapt in thought, trying to decide how best to exercise his sacred right to scribble on paper.

Right so state provided education leads to rubbish education and only paying for it, like private education is the way to go..

It is one way to ensure one gets education instead of propaganda. If you're content with a head full of propaganda, then you're content with it. But, believe it or not, there are people who are not content with it, and are not content to get their money taken at gunpoint so it can be used to fill children's heads with it.

Such as, healthcare should be a right, to the employed and unemployed? Welfare should exist to help others who don't have money. Education should be a right, it may be not be free to go to college or university, but loans can help, usually is sadly the way, or the parents.

No it isn't. It would be if freedom gave everybody a chance, but it doesn't.

Sadly, none us get what we want in life, even a socialist can see that.

And the almighty, allwise, benevolent state gives everyone a fair shake, right?

You are so propagandized you don't even notice that your sentence admits that your position isn't freedom.

Well it does compared to the past. You forget, you remind me of extremist evangelical Muslims or Christians.

Freedom is the only thing that almost works, tyranny is a dumpster fire.

Why don't you tend to the beam in Britain's eye loser? Your glorious government is importing millions of the evangelical muslims you despise, your violence problems are already worse than ours and they are going to get nightmarish.
