CIA Analyst McGovern: Trump is Deathly Afraid of the Deep State

I would concur with this assessment.

    https://tomwoods.com/ep-1087-the-tru...n/?omhide=true

Tom Woods approaches the problem as we all would:

If I were president, and I found myself attacked on all sides on spurious grounds (e.g., Russiagate), I would give a national address from the Oval Office.

I would identify the various parties attacking me and explain what their interests and motivations are. I would provide overwhelming evidence that the whole thing is a hoax that would insult a third grader. I would explain that the last thing these people want is detente with Russia, since they've all made very nice livings promoting a foreign policy of confrontation and intervention, which has bled us dry and given us nothing to show for it.

Why won't Trump give that speech?

    "He's afraid," said McGovern.

No monster should be blithely discounted.

The more important question is "does he have a plan to defeat them or is he surrendering?".

This analysis is why QANON may be fiction. If Trump started rounding up these criminals as the unsubstantiated narrative would lead one to believe, his grandchildren would suffer unfortunate accidents. It would be a total bloodbath.

We shall see, I won't believe or reject the narrative until more time has gone by and people have been prosecuted or they clearly are not going to be.

Ever Since the Kennedy assassination I don't blame presidents for being afraid. They either get in line or find themselves in a body bag.

All the more reason to stay unmarried/single/no kids when playing big politics.

I doubt he's afraid though. Sounds like a "woe is our leader" cop-out to me.

Nixon's case proves the impeachment is also a possibility.

I do not think he is afraid. I think he is smarter than people give him credit for.

He is certainly cautious about coming right out with it.

If Ron Paul had read Art of the Deal I think he would have had a much better chance of winning.

It's a must-read for any aspiring businessperson, politician, or anyone really. It's basically the modern version of The Art of War, and will probably be just as famous if not even more famous 1000+ years from now. They'll probably be teaching it at business schools even long after we've mastered space travel and colonized the galaxy.

If he is truly against the deep state he would be a fool to not be afraid. I have no doubt that he is smart and he knows how to get many people on his side which he seems to know is very important. The deep state is one hell of an adversary. My concern that all this hoopla from the media is just a ploy to keep the citizens of the USA confused and picking a side. I have known for years that the media is not honest and that they conceal a lot in order to protect the interest of the elites.

I am so glad that Hillary did not become the president. The fact that Trump was the only other option that the media was going to allow to win concerns me. The chaos that has developed concerns me because I know it is the ideal way to heard the sheep so to say. I hope Trump is fighting the deep state and if he is I pray for his and his family's safety.

This is why I do not think he is afraid of what they do to them. He has powerful allies.

    This was a great speech:

was on a Secret Service detail for an instant in the 90's . . .
He told his Dad that there were those that "would not take a bullet" for President Bill Clinton.

Trump needs to surround himself with Secret Service that don't have that issue, at the least.

Tom Woods approaches the problem as we all would:

Anything is possible in love, war and politcs but it seems unlikely given Trump's generally bold, fearless personality.

Loyal Trump supporter Scaramucci few days ago in an interview on Stormy Daniel scandal said that Trump was "not blackmailable". That statement could be expanded to add that "he does not get afraid easily". But in the unlikely case that was was threatened or blackmailed by some domestic/foreign actors, he should immediately take Congress and US public into confidence who will come to his defense.

Publisher of the ‘Atlanta Jewish Times’ suggests Mossad should assassinate Obama

Adam Horowitz on January 20, 2012
John Cook reports at Gawker: Andrew Adler, the owner and publisher of the Atlanta Jewish Times, a weekly newspaper serving Atlanta’s Jewish community, devoted his January 13, 2012 column to the thorny problem of the U.S. and Israel’s diverging views on the threat posed by Iran. Basically Israel has three options, he wrote: Strike Hezbollah and Hamas, strike Iran, or “order a hit” on Barack Obama. Either way, problem solved!
Here’s how Adler laid out “option three” in his list of scenarios facing Israeli president Benjamin Netanyahu (the column, which was forwarded to us by a tipster, isn’t online, but you can read a copy here):

Three, give the go-ahead for U.S.-based Mossad agents to take out a president deemed unfriendly to Israel in order for the current vice president to take his place, and forcefully dictate that the United States’ policy includes its helping the Jewish state obliterate its enemies.
Yes, you read “three” correctly. Order a hit on a president in order to preserve Israel’s existence. Think about it. If I have thought of this Tom Clancy-type scenario, don’t you think that this almost unfathomable idea has been discussed in Israel’s most inner circles?
Another way of putting “three” in perspective goes something like this: How far would you go to save a nation comprised of seven million lives…Jews, Christians and Arabs alike?
You have got to believe, like I do, that all options are on the table.

    Jared Kushner, Shanda
How the scion of one tri-state crime family married into another, in a story equal parts ‘Sopranos’ and ‘Game of Thrones.’
    By James Kirchick
    ...
Determined to prevent Billy from testifying, Charles set up a honey trap for his brother-in-law in a motel room—fully equipped with video cameras—and paid a prostitute $10,000. Kushner then sent a tape of the assignation to his sister, who promptly turned her brother’s attempt at blackmail over to the authorities.

Kushner was also implicated in the simultaneous downfall of his political protégé McGreevy, who became infamous for a live televised resignation during which he announced to the world that he was “a gay American.” Thanks to this cynical deflection, most today remember McGreevy as having done nothing worse than commit marital infidelity under the duress of his decision to marry a woman and live his life in the closet. But the main reason McGreevy was forced to step down from his post was that his former lover, an Israeli man named Golan Cipel whom he had put on the state payroll in a make-work job, was threatening to sue him for sexual harassment.
So, who was Golan Cipel? McGreevy had met Cipel several years earlier in Israel, and it was Charles Kushner who sponsored the young Israeli’s work visa to the United States and then generously employed Cipel in one of his companies before the governor hired him. Some speculated that Kushner, recognizing the blackmail potential of this arrangement, persuaded Cipel to threaten McGreevy with exposure.

On Friday, MSNBC hosts Mika Brzezinski and Joe Scarborough made the explosive claim that three of President Donald Trump’s most senior White House aides “warned” the couple that the tabloid The National Enquirer would publish dirt on them unless they “begged” the president to intervene.
The story in question, published by the Enquirer early this month and headlined “Joe & Mika: TV Couple’s Sleazy Cheating Scandal,” claimed that the Morning Joe co-hosts had “started hooking up while married to other people” and “used ironclad divorce deals to keep their dirty secret!”
