That's a big claim to make without a citation. How does he know the people he's referring to are Protestant? Plenty of megachurches and fringe-y "independent" churches are just non-denominational.

On the other hand anyone (especially religious)who opposes current pseudoscience like Global Warming, GMO safety, Population Control, is called anti-science.
