‘Shoot black kids’ smoking weed, police chief advises recruit

    https://www.rt.com/usa/416452-police...ot-black-kids/

A former assistant police chief in Kentucky advised a recruit to “shoot” black youths smoking marijuana and to have sex with their mothers if he finds them attractive.
While being interviewed by the police recruit who was writing a paper about “the right thing to do,” Todd Shaw, assistant chief in Prospect, Kentucky, was asked what to do if he encountered juveniles smoking marijuana.

“If black, shoot them,” Shaw responded, according to a letter written by Mike O’Connell, the Chief Legal Officer for Jefferson County to the Mayor of Prospect, John Evans.

Shaw continued with outlandish answers when asked what to tell the kids’ parents, WDRB reports.

“Call their (pa)rents … If mom is hot then f**k her… If dad is hot then handcuff him and make him suck my d**k... Unless daddy is black. Then shoot him,” he wrote, according to the outlet.

“There is no place in police departments for men or women who hold such strongly held prejudices, including recommending shooting people simply because of their race,” O’Connell wrote to the mayor.

The prosecutor said his office would not move forward with any pending cases in which Shaw was involved. More than 20 cases were dismissed as a result. The name of the police recruit has not been released.

Shaw had made the comments in Facebook messages, which were found by prosecutors investigating a possible criminal prosecution against him for allegedly interfering in a sex abuse probe.

The probe focused on two Louisville police officers who were charged with sexually abusing teenagers. Shaw was being investigated for providing illegal assistance to one of the officers.

He sued the the cities of Prospect and Louisville in an effort to keep the messages private, but a judge ruled Thursday that his level of responsibility as an assistant police chief “lends itself to a higher level of public scrutiny.”

Please tell me why I should worship the state (who apparently is the only party that can possess guns without question).

At which point will Americans realize that creating an unaccountable institution that is able to pass its liability on to tax-payers is immoral and attracts sociopaths?

He's a former assistant police chief. I'm sure there's a rational explanation for his comments

All that is needed is better training.
Theye have refused their Assent to Laws, the most wholesome and necessary for the public good.

Theye have erected a multitude of New Offices, and sent hither swarms of Officers to harass our people and eat out their substance.

Theye kept among us, in times of peace, Standing Armies

Theye have combined with others to subject us to a jurisdiction foreign to our constitution,

For protecting them, by a mock Trial from punishment for any Murders which they should commit on the Inhabitants of these States:

For cutting off our Trade with parts of the world:

For imposing Taxes on us without our Consent:

For depriving us in many cases, of the benefit of Trial by Jury:

Theye plundered and destroyed the lives of our people.

Theye are at this time transporting Armies of Mercenaries to compleat the works of death, desolation, and tyranny, already begun with circumstances of Cruelty & Perfidy scarcely paralleled in the most barbarous ages, and totally unworthy of a civilized nation.

LMPD Chief Steve Conrad said in a statement that he was "disgusted by the shocking and appalling" comments.
I remember officials being shocked when the MIAC Report came out.

Shocked,, because they thought no one would find out.

Shocked they got it on tape.
Liberty is lost through complacency and a subservient mindset. When we accept or even welcome automobile checkpoints, random searches, mandatory identification cards, and paramilitary police in our streets, we have lost a vital part of our American heritage. America was born of protest, revolution, and mistrust of government. Subservient societies neither maintain nor deserve freedom for long.

I thought the same (well, HOPED the same).

    But to play Devil's Advocate....

Do we know he wasn't being a smart ass or sarcastic? I remember the cop who told the woman on dash cam footage, "No...we only shoot black people, remember?" being made into a huge deal. Not to say that was a very unprofessional thing to say as well as moronic knowing you are being recorded, but poor taste in humor aside it was obvious he wasn't being serious.

And before anyone comes at me.....no, I am not denying that there are many people wearing a badge that actually view the public like described. And no....I am not a cop sucker always trying to justify things for them. But they do more than enough to validate fears and dislike without having to use things out of possible context. That's all.

This is outrageous! Cops can shoot, beat up, falsely accuse any one they want as long as there was no discrimination is involved!
