Neocon Nikki Haley wanted to discuss Iran protests, Russia brought up Black Lives Matter

Tough days for respected neocon Nikki Haley lately, just days after Binomo scandal, she is being called 'Lucifer' in Bannon inspired book out this week.

    Then there is this:

The U.S. Wanted to Discuss Iran. Russia Brought Up Black Lives Matter.

    By MICHAEL SCHWIRTZJAN. 5, 2018

In her remarks, Ms. Haley said that the United States would remain steadfastly behind the Iranian protesters.
“Let there be no doubt whatsoever,” she said, “the United States stands unapologetically with those in Iran who seek freedom for themselves.”

But there was evidence of a mini-revolt brewing within the Security Council chamber, not only among traditional adversaries like Russia and China, but also among close allies like France and Sweden. Many seemed to fear that the outspoken criticism by the Americans was simply a pretext to undermine the Iran nuclear deal, which President Trump has long desired to scrap.

It is not precisely clear what Ms. Haley hoped to achieve by convening the session on Friday, which was not previously scheduled. Until the meeting began at 3 p.m., it was not even certain whether Ms. Haley would be able to secure the votes needed to call the session to order.
But even before the session began, France’s ambassador, François Delattre, warned against “instrumentalization” of the protests “from the outside.”
Speaking before the Council, he went further.
“We must be wary of any attempt to exploit this crisis for personal ends, which would have a diametrically opposed outcome to that which is wished,” Mr. Delattre said.

The Russian ambassador, Vasily A. Nebenzya, was more blunt. He asked rhetorically why the Security Council had not taken up the issue of Black Lives Matter protests in Ferguson, Mo., which were at times also met with a violent police response.“The real reason for convening today’s meeting is not an attempt to protect human rights or promote the interests of the Iranian people, but rather as a veiled attempt to use the current moment to continue to undermine” the Iranian deal, Mr. Nebenzya said.

He sort of has a point, especially if the Iranian protestors burned some police cars and dumpsters, broke some windows and stole some TVs with a line of armored up police officers and dozens of cell phones watching them do it.

The Palestinian Authority on Sunday launched a scathing attack on the US Ambassador to the United Nations, Nikki Haley, dubbing her an “ambassador of animosity, hatred and dark ideology,” after she blocked a UN condemnation of Israel.

The PA said that Haley was responsible for aborting a UN Security Council resolution condemning Israel for Friday’s deaths and injuries of Palestinians during mass protests along the border between the Gaza Strip and Israel.

“The US ambassador insists on taking positions in support of the occupation and in defense of its crimes and violations,” said a statement issued by the PA Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Ramallah.

Blaming Haley for adopting a “barefaced hostile position” against the Palestinians, the ministry accused Haley of “blind bias in favor of Israel and its crimes.”
The United States on Saturday blocked a draft UN Security Council statement urging restraint and calling for an investigation of clashes on the Gaza-Israel border.
Kuwait, which represents Arab countries on the council, presented the proposed statement, which called for an “independent and transparent investigation” of the violence.

Now China seems to be following Russian example suddenly:

China blasts Trump over his response to US unrest

Beijing calls president a hypocrite for criticising rioters while supporting Hong Kong protesters

Chinese officials and state media outlets have savaged the Trump administration’s response to violent protests raging across the US, describing the president as a hypocrite after he supported Hong Kong’s demonstrations.
In a tweet directed at US state department spokesperson Morgan Ortagus, who said the Chinese government had “flagrantly broken its promises to the people of Hong Kong” with its plan to impose a new security law in the territory, her counterpart at China’s foreign ministry, Hua Chunying, wrote “I can’t breathe”.
Those were the final words uttered by George Floyd, the African American man whose death while being detained by Minneapolis police officers sparked violent confrontations in dozens of US cities.
“After just three days of rioting in Minneapolis President Trump threatened to shoot protesters,” a commentary in the nationalist tabloid Global Times observed, in a reference to the president’s tweet that “when the looting starts the shooting starts”.
The newspaper added that in more than six months of often violent demonstrations in Hong Kong, just one protester had been shot when he allegedly struck the arm of an officer who had drawn his service revolver in self-defence. In fact, three protesters have been shot during the course of Hong Kong’s unrest, none fatally.
“Why does the US refer to black-clad rioters as ‘heroes’, but label its people protesting against racial discrimination as ‘thugs’?” Zhao Lijian, a foreign ministry spokesman, asked on Monday. “Why did the US have so many problems with restrained law enforcement by the Hong Kong police but have no problem at all with threatening to shoot at its domestic protesters?”

Trump's close friend led China is taking a page from Russia's playbook it seems:

Chinese Media Proposes Beijing Pass ‘George Floyd Human Rights Bill’

    19 Jun 2020

China’s Global Times state propaganda newspaper angrily condemned President Donald Trump’s signing of the Uyghur Human Rights Act in a column Thursday by urging China’s rubber-stamp legislature to pass a law condemning “the deplorable U.S. human rights situation.”

The Global Times compared the establishment of concentration camps to allegations of law enforcement racism in America in its article Thursday and urged the Chinese National People’s Congress (NPC) to pass a “George Floyd human rights bill,” presumably sanctioning American officials.
“The U.S. has fallen from the moral high ground as a self-proclaimed human rights defender. It’s time for the international community to scrutinize the deplorable U.S. human rights situation,” the Global Times asserted. “If the U.S. cannot face up to its own problems, it’s imperative for the international community to step in, for example, setting up a special committee and starting an inquiry.”
“China’s top legislature could also consider passing a ‘George Floyd human rights bill’ to send the U.S. a message, urging it to step up human rights protection,” the article added, without elaborating on what should be in that bill. Given the content of the Uyghur Human Rights Policy Act, however, such a bill could allow for sanctions against American officials that Beijing declares are complicit in racist activity.
George Floyd was a resident of Minnesota killed by Minneapolis police. In the last moments of Floyd’s life, police officer Derek Chauvin pressed his knee into Floyd’s neck for nearly ten minutes. Floyd was unarmed and did not appear to be resisting the officers. His death triggered a wave of protests and riots throughout the United States against police brutality and, in particular, police violence against black Americans.

Chinese propaganda outlets like the Global Times have used Floyd in an attempt to argue that America is a worse human rights violator than China. In another article published this week, the Times cited a Communist Party-approved “expert” to conclude that “the U.S. is not a champion of human rights at all since it can’t even clean its own mess.”
The “expert” was identified as Chang Jian, the head of a Chinese think tank that had recently published a report on George Floyd’s death.
“By using human rights as an excuse, the U.S has destroyed many sovereign countries and made them failed states, such as Iraq, Afghanistan, Libya and Syria,” the report allegedly concluded.
“The U.S. always politicizes the human rights issue in the international arena and this time, the horrible human rights conditions of African Americans and other minorities have uncovered the hypocrisy of U.S. politicians, which makes the U.S. less qualified to comment on other countries’ human rights issues,” Chang reportedly said
